Friday, September 12
*5:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 2nd Street regarding a civil standby and child custody issues.
Monday, September 15
*1:46 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of W. Commerce regarding a disturbance. According to the report, the officer spoke with the parties involved and one alleged that an assault took place. The incident was documented.
*5:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Brady Avenue regarding the theft of a bicycle. According to the report, the complainant stated that two days ago one of his bicycles was stolen out of his yard and he wished to pursue charges if a suspect is identified.
*8:28 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the theft of money. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had sent her daughter into a north Brownwood business to purchase items and retrieve some cash back. While the complainant’s daughter was at the business, she made the transaction but forgot to pick up the cash after the payment was made, the report states. When the daughter realized she had forgotten to pick up the cash from the self check out machine, she observed the cash was missing, according to the report. The complainant stated that the store’s video surveillance had images of the suspect and she wished to pursue charges, the report states.*9:56 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 900 block of W. Baker Street. According to the report, during the stop, the officer located a quantity of marijuana. This call led to the arrest of 39-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood for the offense of possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
*11:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Vincent Street regarding a possible domestic disturbance. According to the report, while officers were en route, the male subject involved left in a vehicle. The vehicle was located and an officer attempted to stop the vehicle, which continued for several blocks, the report states. After the vehicle came to a stop, the driver exited the vehicle but failed to provide the officer with his name or any identification for the investigation. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Tanner James Harlow, was arrested and charged with failure to identify – fugitive from justice and driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra of Brownwood on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.
*Lake Patrol arrested 31-year-old arrested 31-year-old Phillis Jean Teague-Dossey of Gorman on an Eastland County warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
Tuesday, September 16
*12:42 AM – A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the 10000 block of US Hwy 183 south for driving in the left lane when prohibited. The occupants were identified as driver 36-year-old Rebecca Ann Krischke of Early and passengers 23-year-old Ethan Austin Hazle and 27-year-old Joshua Malcolm Rutledge, the report states. Krischke admitted to having marijuana in the glove box of the vehicle and a probable cause search yielded 27 grams of marijuana which was found inside a modified Monster energy drink can that was in use as a criminal instrument, according to the report. Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia and 1 gram of marijuana were found in a bag in the truck, which was accessible to Rutledge. All three subjects were arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Krischke and Hazle were additionally charged with unlawful use of a criminal instrument.
