Tuesday, September 8

*12:47 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a property on Western Hills Lane.  According to the report, a female involved had extremely minor injuries.  The deputy was unable to determine who the primary aggressor was so the parties were separated for the night, the report states.

*7:24 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue H regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:20 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 344 regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant had received 40 unwanted phone calls from her ex-husband in four hours.

Friday, September 11

*1:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy 279 and County Road 602.  This stop led to the arrests of 26-year-old Gerardo Vidal Stokes of Kyle on a warrant for a parole violation and 38-year-old Jasmine Lopez of Abilene for failure to identify.

*11:12 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of 9th Street and Coggin Avenue regarding a welfare check.  According to the report, officers met with a male subject, later identified as 59-year-old David Bergman of Brownwood, who was walking down Coggin Avenue.  As a result of this call, Bergman was arrested for public intoxication.

*11:52 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding forgery.  According to the report, the store owner explained that he had two returned checks from an unknown male subject.

*4:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 134 regarding credit/debit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had made charges on a credit card in his name, which he had never seen.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made consensual contact with the occupants of a vehicle in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on W. Commerce.  According to the report, the deputy could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.  The two occupants were identified as 31-year-old Joseph Ferguson of Early and 29-year-old Bryan Temple of Brownwood and were asked to exit the vehicle.  Temple was chewing something that he admitted was marijuana, the report states.  On a probable cause search of the vehicle, a Star Wars lunch box was found in the back seat which contained a baggy of marijuana which weighed 6.6 grams, a pipe with marijuana residue, a pipe with methamphetamine residue, two lighters and papers which the deputy believed had narcotic transactions written on them, the report states.  A cigarette package was located which also contained 4.4 grams of marijuana, according to the report.  Ferguson and was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana.  Ferguson was being held on bonds totaling $17,000 as of Monday morning.  Temple was charged with tamper/fabricate physical evidence, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and surety bonds related to burglary of a habitation and possession of marijuana.  Temple was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $28,500 as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Jessica Lynn Gowin on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/delivery of drug paraphernalia.

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 25-year-old Brianne Nicholle Jones of Brownwood on warrants related to commitment order/driving while license invalid and commitment order /violate promise to appear.

*49-year-old Phillip Lloyd Lemmons of Brownwood was arrested on a Callahan County warrant related to theft of services.

Saturday, September 12

*1:00 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on 6th Street in Blanket regarding a domestic disturbance.    According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 37-year-old Christopher Wayne Hood of Blanket for assault causes bodily injury/family violence to prevent further acts of violence.

*1:46 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a convenience store on N. Hwy 279 regarding the theft of an 18-pack of beer.  According to the report, the deputy was unable to locate the suspect vehicle; however, a description of the suspects was provided.

*3:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, after speaking with the complainant, a report for the burglary of a vehicle was filed.

*7:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to a citation being issued to a female subject for theft less than $100.

*8:41 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Hwy 377 regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, a female suspect known to have a criminal trespass warning for the property had come onto the property and the business did wish to pursue criminal charges.

*9:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue E regarding an assault.  According to the report, this call led to an investigation of injury to a disabled person and criminal mischief.

*10:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue A regarding an assault.

*11:59 PM – Brownwood police responded to the area of Streckert Drive and Crockett Drive regarding a possibly intoxicated person.  According to the report, the officer arrived and found that an assault had occurred.

*Early Police arrested 43-year-old Freddie Louis Denbow, Jr. for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Tabatha Lee Hyles of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Luis Alfonso Perez of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Sunday, September 13

*9:31 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the report of a reckless driver traveling southbound on US Hwy 183 between Early and Zephyr in the northbound lanes and weaving in the southbound lanes.  According to the report, the vehicle was being followed by a witness who reported that the vehicle had pulled off the roadway.  The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as 38-year-old Deanne Michelle Green of Brownwood and after standardized field sobriety tests were performed, it was determined the suspect was too impaired to drive and Green was arrested for driving while intoxicated with child passenger, the report states.

*10:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 7th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, during the burglary various items were stolen from the vehicle.

*11:28 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  This call led to the arrest of 25-year-old Matthew Sydow for theft of property greater than $100 less than $750.

*11:46 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Rogan Street regarding criminal mischief.

*2:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a property on Brook Valley Drive regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he maintains a property for an owner that lives out of town and stated he had noticed the window of a back door was broken.

*7:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Elm and Waco Streets regarding animal cruelty.  According to the report, the animal’s owner was contacted and the incident was documented.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Linda Johnson Selnekovic of Early on a warrant related to possession of marijuana greater than 5 pounds less than 50 pounds.  Selnekovic was released on $15,000 bond.

Monday, September 14

*Taylor County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Donna Alvineda of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft.
