Wednesday, September 12
*12:55pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, a juvenile was issued a citation and a criminal trespass warning for the store’s location after the juvenile allegedly took a wallet, valued at $15. The wallet was returned to the store, the report states.
*3:08pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Avenue D regarding criminal mischief. The report states that a suspect is known.
*4:08pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of 1st Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the passenger window of the complainant’s vehicle was shot out.
*5:24pm- Brownwood Police responded to a dormitory on the campus at the request of the Howard Payne University Department of Public Safety regarding narcotics. According to the report, dormitory personnel had discovered narcotics in the room of a student. An investigation led to the arrest of one student, identified as 18-year-old Mikenzie Rodriguez, who was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance, according to the report and Brown County Jail records.
*8:43pm-Browwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Parkway Drive for unsafe speed. According to the report, the driver identified as 22-year-old Alexander Villarreal was arrested for no driver’s license-3rd or more.
*Early Police arrested 56-year-old Terry Diann Whisenhunt of Mullin for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
Thursday, September 13
*4:03am-Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault. According to the report, two victims indicated that they were each assaulted by a male during a party at a residence in the 1200 block of 8th Street. A suspect has been identified; however no arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*6:49am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center regarding a female in the LEC lobby acting “suspicious.” According to the report, the call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Alicia Diana Green for public intoxication.
*10:24am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft which occurred in the 400 block of W. Commerce on Tuesday. According to the report, there were no suspects identified in the theft.
*2:31pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding lost property. According to the report, a gold ring with a 1 karat diamond was lost in the 400 block of W. Commerce or the 300 block of N. Main Street on Tuesday.
*2:31pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the victim was not sure who took the wallet but that the complainant believed the incident occurred between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:30pm and provided a description of a potential suspect.
*4:23pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding an animal bite. According to the report, the incident occurred on the previous day and the injury was minor. The incident will be investigated by animal control.
*5:31pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that his wallet and its contents had been stolen while he was sleeping. No arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*8:54pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 2nd Street regarding the theft of windshield wiper blades. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect stole the windshield wiper blades off of an inoperable vehicle that was parked at the location. No suspects were determined at the time of the report.
Friday, September 14
*1:58am-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 10th Street and Coggin Avenue. During the stop, property was located that belonged to the City of Brownwood. The property was collected and taken to the police department. The incident was documented.
