Monday, September 5
*5:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on West Highway 67 regarding the burglary of a building.
Friday, September 9
*9:38 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Belle Plain regarding theft of property.
*10:47 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a gaming system, accessories and a video game were stolen from the property.
*11:56 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Santa Clara regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*12:41 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. Austin Avenue. According to the report, during the stop, the driver gave police a false name and date of birth. As a result of this stop, the driver, identified as 30-year-old Bryce Rains of Brownwood, was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone, failure to identify fugitive intentionally give false information, and driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension/without financial responsibility.*2:11 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Willis Street. As a result of this stop, 29-year-old Kendrick Jones of Brownwood was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.
*3:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of 1st Street regarding theft of service (from the City of Brownwood).
*4:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, a male subject attempted to steal $137.04 of party goods and food items from the business. As a result of this call, 26-year-old Brandon Costilla of Brownwood was arrested for theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.
*4:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Durham and Avenue G regarding an assault. According to the report, during an investigation it was determined that a female subject had been assaulted by her roommate during an argument. As a result of this call, 26-year-old Daniella Marie Evans of Brownwood was arrested for assault with injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Dustin Lee Balboa of Brownwood on warrants related to unsafe speed and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Michael Biles of Bangs on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Alexander Carl Holloway of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 25-year-old Olegario Moreno of Brownwood on warrants related to speeding, failure to maintain financial responsibility, violate promise to appear, and contempt of court.
Saturday, September 10
*8:24 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Crothers Street regarding the theft of two mini bikes.
*1:12 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Austin and Main Street. As a result of this stop, 39-year-old Chriselda Sue Herrera of Comanche was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
*36-year-old Della Avido Kellems Baggett turned herself in on a Comanche County warrant related to injury to the elderly. Baggett was later released on $25,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 61-year-old George Lynn Devoll of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 2nd.
Sunday, September 11
*1:26 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Bowie Circle regarding an assault. According to the report, as a result of this call, 37-year-old Mandy Dybas of Brownwood was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family member 2+ within 12 months, resist arrest search or transport and assault public servant. Dybas was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $45,000 as of Monday morning.
*11:32 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 11th Street regarding criminal mischief.
*3:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft of property. According to the report, the suspect was later located and he admitted stealing from the business. The property was recovered and returned to the store and the subject was cited for Class C theft then released from the scene.
*4:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belmeade Street regarding criminal trespass.
*5:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.
*7:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding an intoxicated person. As a result of this call, 57-year-old Chester Noland Williams of Blanket, Texas was arrested for public intoxication, the report states.
*7:24 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s corporal was dispatched to the report of an injured calf found on FM 1467 just north of Blanket, Texas. According to the report, several attempts were made to locate an owner with no success. A contract cowboy was contact to pick up the calf, and due to the injuries the calf had, it was taken to Dr. Fritz Speck’s facilities on FM 2126, the report states.
*8:18 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop in the 3100 block of North Highway 183 on a white Chevy pickup. According to the report, consent to search the vehicle was given and the deputy located a marijuana pipe which was accessible to all three occupants. One of the occupants claimed ownership of the pipe and the marijuana in it, the report states. According to the deputy’s report, during the investigation more marijuana was located on another occupant, who was trying to hide it in her shirt. The two occupants, identified as 21-year-old Zackary Ryan Byram and 24-year-old Page Lynn Clayton both of Brownwood, were each charged with possession of marijuana greater than 2 ounces, less than or equal to 4 ounces.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 17-year-old Wilson Edward Seiders of Mullin for driving while intoxicated.
