Friday, September 7

*6:40pm-Brownwood Police received a report of the burglary of a motor vehicle which occurred at 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while parked in the store’s lot, two prescription medications were stolen from inside the vehicle.

Monday, September 10

*1:53pm-Brownwood Police received a report of theft of construction tools.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an ex-employee had pawned equipment at a local pawnshop.  A 24v hammer drill valued at $600 and an electric jack hammer valued at $2500 was stolen, which constitute a state jail felony amount, the report states.

*8:06pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Waco Street regarding an attempted burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone has been attempting to steal her vehicle’s sound system the past two nights.

*8:36pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Hillsboro regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her juvenile son had been assaulted while walking home from the store.

*9:34pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of 1st Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the back left quarter panel of the complainant’s vehicle was damaged.  The cost of repair is estimated at $500.  A suspect has been identified; however no arrest has been made.

*9:38pm-Brownwood Police were called to the area of Beaver Street and Victoria regarding the assault of an elderly male.

Tuesday, September 11

*1:56am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault.  A female subject identified her husband as the suspect.

*7:56am-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report  a stereo/CD player valued at $100 was stolen from the complainant’s vehicle.   There were no known suspects at the time of the report.

*9:07am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Belle Plain regarding theft.  According to the report, the suspect was contacted and agreed to return the stolen property.  The incident was documented at the complainant’s request.

*9:16am-Brownwood Police received a report of a missing person.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her female roommate had not come home and did not report to work.  The roommate was also unable to be reached on her cell phone the report states.

*10:52am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 1st Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the back door of the residence had been damaged and appeared to have been kicked in.  The complainant did not wish to pursue criminal charges; however requested extra patrol in the area, the report states.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*9:13pm-Brownwood Police were called to a residence on 13th Street regarding an assault.  A woman reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her.  A case of assault with injury family violence is being investigated.

*8:23pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 3rd Street regarding a woman who was walking in the middle of the road who seemed disoriented.  This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Alicia Green for public intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Steven Ray Chevrie for possession of marijuana less than 2 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Early Police arrested 27-year-old Michael Patrick Obrien, Jr. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Cole B. Splawn of Denton for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, September 12

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Chad William Beasley for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Jeffrey Scott Rice of Savannah, TX for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
