Sunday, September 5

*2:46pm-Brownwood Police were called to a report of a citizen dispute.  After investigation, a report for criminal mischief was filed.

Wednesday, September 8

*8:57am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding criminal mischief.  The complainant stated that overnight unknown subject(s) damaged the brick entry to the trailer park.

 

*12:10pm-A Brownwood Police officer spoke with a complainant regarding theft.  The complainant stated that between the hours of 4:00am-9:00pm several items were taken from his suitcase while he was staying at a local hotel.  Around 9:00pm, he returned to his room to find an intoxicated male passed out on his bed and believes this subject was the person that stole his property.

*3:00pm-Brownwood Police were called to a local store in the 400 block of W. Commerce in regard to theft.  The Asset Protection Coordinator identified an employee who is suspected of taking $30 from a Wal-Mart gift card account.

*3:07pm-Brownwood Police received a report of terroristic threat via a social networking website, MySpace.  The complainant explained that she had blocked the person from messaging her; however, the suspect had created a fake profile in order to continue making threats.  The suspect has been identified although no arrests had been made as of the time of the report.

*Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a report of an unwanted person at a local hotel.  The suspect was located and issued a Criminal Trespass Warning for the address of the hotel.

Thursday, September 9

*3:30pm-Brownwood Police were called to the parking lot of a business in the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a hit and run.  The complainant had been inside the store shopping and returned approximately 45 minutes later to find her vehicle had been damaged.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*7:48pm-A Brownwood Police officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Avenue I, which resulted in the arrest of a male for an outstanding warrant and a female for driving while license invalid/no insurance.

*8:24pm-Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop for disregarding a stop sign at Marketplace and Belle Plain.  The driver, 30-year-old Katherine Marisa Durand, was arrested for Suspended Drivers License and Driving While License Invalid.  Passengers, identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Paul Scott, 20-year-old Jerry Leann Baldwin, and 28-year-old Modesta Nicole Bilbrey Perrie were found to be intoxicated and were charged with Public Intoxication.  The vehicle was towed.

*11:40pm-Brownwood Police were called to a burglary in the 1900 block of Coggin.  The complainant stated that a previous renter has keys to her residence and while she was at work, a white male entered her residence without permission; however, nothing was stolen.

*Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Indian Creek.  A consensual search yielded a marijuana pipe located in the passenger’s purse.  The subject was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was conducting a narcotics investigation on a residence in the 2400 block of Avenue D, where it was believed methamphetamine was being sold  A traffic stop was initiated on a suspect, and a search warrant was executed on the suspect’s vehicle.  Reports state that this yielded a meth pipe, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia in the vehicle.  Additional meth and drug related items were found in the residence.  BCSO arrested 30-year-old Eleazar Hernandez for Manufacture & Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 <1g in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 <1g in a Drug Free Zone.  24-year-old Luis Alfredo Hernandez was also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than 1g, in a Drug Free Zone. *Brown County Sheriff’s Office was following up on a residential burglary and theft of copper.  Enough evidence was collected to get a search warrant, which was executed.  Several items from the burglary of two residences as well as one copper theft were found.  The suspect, 23-year-old Robert Brian White was charged with two counts of Burglary of a Habitation and Theft of Aluminum/Bronze/Copper, 20k.

Friday, September 10

*1:13am-Brownwood Police initiated a pedestrian stop in the 1000 block of 1st Street.  A consensual search of a suspect’s purse yielded a marijuana pipe.  Subject was subsequently issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

*2:30am-Brownwood Police were called to a disturbance in the 1500 block of 2nd Street.  The complainant stated a known suspect threw her cell phone and broke it during an argument.  The suspect had left the scene and was not located.

*2:42am-Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center Emergency Room regarding disorderly conduct.  A subject, identified as 38-year-old Teresa Michelle Allen, was arrested for False Alarm or Report.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
