Saturday, September 5
*4:06 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle. Items stolen included clothing, electronics and tools, according to the report.
Wednesday, September 9
*8:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, an unknown suspect removed parts from a vehicle on the lot without the consent of the owner. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*1:03 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 58-year-old Dewayne Gray Chandler of Mullin for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Victoria Street regarding a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Steve Chavarria of Brownwood for assault with injury, no driver’s license, and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*7:52 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 3rd Street regarding the theft of medication. According to the report, the complainant stated that the medication was for cerebral palsy and if taken without the medical condition, it could cause serious health problems, the report states.*8:31 PM – Brownwood police responded to a suspicious call in the 1300 block of 11th Street. According to the report, a known male subject was seen inside the residence. Officers arrived to find the door of the residence unsecured and were advised by a witness that the suspect had run from the residence after exiting through the front door, the report states. The suspect was chased on foot but the officer lost sight of and was not able to locate him, according to the report. The owner of the property wished to pursue criminal charges for criminal trespass against the suspect, who evaded arrest/detention after knowing that he was running away from officers who were clearly uniformed and had identified themselves, the report states.
*11:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Main Blvd. after a caller stated that he could hear two people yelling at each other outside. This call led to the arrest of 37-year-old Bobby Morgan Wallace of Brownwood for public intoxication. An investigation is pending for assault causing bodily injury, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jarod Scott Cyr of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Billy Clyde Moore of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.
*Howard Payne DPS officer arrested 18-year-old Leonard Deleone Owens of Houston on a warrant related to place weapons prohibited. Owens was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Brian Thomas on warrants related to a surety withdrawal for unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal mischief. Thomas was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $11,500 as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Jackson Brook Weekley of Brownwood on warrants related to minor possesses alcoholic beverage, motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone and possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
Thursday, September 10
*1:33 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the suspect was known and a description was given.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Kimberly Diane Duhr of Bangs on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear on class C offense.
