Sunday, September 7
*7:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant’s iPhone 5, which had a broken screen, had been stolen and a suspect has been identified.
Monday, September 8
*3:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding theft. According to the report, money was stolen from the residence.
*4:33 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of 15th Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant advised that someone had broken into one of his storage units at 800 15th Street and had damaged the door latch. Due to the matter being a civil issue, a report for criminal mischief was filed in the municipal court for damaged property.
*5:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Avenue B regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue charges if a suspect can be identified.Tuesday, September 9
*7:00 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 200 block of E. Commerce regarding the burglary of a vehicle which had occurred. The complainant stated that several items had been stolen from the vehicle and the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges if a suspect can be identified, the report states.
*2:38 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 13th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the victim stated that the victim’s daughter’s boyfriend had struck the victim in the eye with a closed fist. As a result of the investigation, 20-year-old Rontrell Young of Brownwood was arrested and charged with assault with injury family violence, the report states.
*2:55 PM – A subject, identified as 24-year-old Jeffrey Lee Schafer of Brooksmith , was located in the 2600 block of Southside Drive and found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, according to the report. As a result of this investigation, Schafer was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.
*8:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a Brownwood Residence regarding a sexual assault. According to the report, the juvenile complainant stated that a male subject had sexually assaulted him. A case was opened regarding the incident, the report states.
*8:56 PM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding stolen property. According to the report, after an investigation, 27-year-old Porfirio Camp, Jr. of Brownwood was arrested for burglary of a building, criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams. Items taken included a chainsaw and a box of tools, which were returned to the victim. The burglary occurred at the victim’s workshop located in the 2500 block of N. Main.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of bigamy. According to the report, a male complainant stated that he received information that a woman to whom he has been legally married to since 2002 has also been married to another man since 2010.
*36-year-old Robert Rios Fuentes of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Drexel M Hold IV of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Tasia Antoinette Webb of Brownwood on a warrant related to no driver’s license.
