Sunday, August 30

*2:11 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on N. Hwy 279 regarding an ongoing stalking case.  According to the report, the female complainant stated that she believes a known suspect placed a pair of men’s thong underwear in her mailbox.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of theft at a property on County Road 620.  According to the report, approximately $15,000 worth of copper wiring had been stolen from the property sometime during the night.

Monday, August 31

*7:19 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 4th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, lawn equipment was stolen from the complainant’s back yard.

*7:28 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Melwood Drive regarding a sexual assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect had allegedly sexually assaulted her daughter.

*7:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Avenue A regarding theft.  According to the report, a complainant stated that he had found his stolen property at a local pawn shop.

*8:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 6th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant reported his generator had been stolen.  The generator was later located at another residence and returned to the complainant, the report states.

*9:54 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2200 block of Coggin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, an unknown suspect removed property from the front porch of the address without the owner’s consent.

*11:32 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Fisk Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the male caller wanted to speak with police about subjects being on the property without permission.  During the investigation, various amounts of drug paraphernalia and prescription medication was found inside the residence.  As a result of this call, 42-year-old Debra Lowery and 25-year-old Marcus Burnett (both of Brownwood) were arrested and each charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.  52-year-old Terry Wilkins, also of Brownwood, was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug.

*1:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Melwood regarding a warrant service.  According to the report, 18-year-old Luis Alfonso Perez of Brownwood was located and arrested on the active warrants (related to aggravated assault with weapon) and additionally charged with violate bond/protective order.  Perez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $28,000 as of Tuesday morning.

*3:45 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office along with all other law enforcement agencies within the county were advised by Coleman County that a subject, identified as 43-year-old Jerry Wayne Kile of Santa Anna, had made threats to law enforcement, that Kile was wanted on a warrant and would not be taken without a shootout.  According to the report, description was given by Coleman County of a vehicle that Kile was traveling in which could be headed to a residence near Lake Brownwood. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop initiated on Hwy 279, according to the deputy’s report.  Three male subjects inside the vehicle were detained, one of which was Kile, according to the report.  During the investigation, a Remington 870 pump action .20 gauge shot gun and a Filipietta black powder .36 caliber revolver were located inside the vehicle, the report states.  One of the males stated that Kile had placed the shotgun in the back seat when he was picked up and and Kile admitted having the revolver in his possession, according to the report.  Kile was placed under arrest for the Coleman County warrant related to motion to revoke/unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and additionally charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by felon.   Kile was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.

*6:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Campa Drive regarding illegal dumping.

*9:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a restaurant on High Top Drive regarding an intoxicated male subject that “could barely walk or stand up.”  According to the report, the deputy located the male who was unable to pull himself out of the water at the marina.  The male was arrested for public intoxication.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant who reported a hunting bow, valued at $340, had been stolen from her barn.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding items that had been stolen from the complainant’s storage shed, located behind his home.  According to the report, three of the stolen weed eaters were located at a local pawn shop and a named suspect was listed as the person who pawned them.  The suspect was questioned and stated he had nothing to do with stealing anything from the complainant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a missing male adult.  According to the report, the man’s son reported his being missing and stated that he was last seen on August 29th at approximately 3:30 p.m.  An attempt to locate was broadcast, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Payden Blaine Blackburn of Brownwood for warrants related to open container and violate promise to appear.

*17-year-old Trevor James Pittman of Norman, Oklahoma turned himself in on a warrant related to the burglary of a habitation.

Tuesday, September 1

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Kimberly Dawn Hollon of Abilene on a surety withdrawal for credit card or debit card abuse.
