Friday, August 27

* The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of theft from a vehicle at the Blanket school during a high school football game.  The report states that two men broke the passenger window of a vehicle in the parking lot and stole a purse.   The suspects also reportedly entered the visiting team’s bus that was parked nearby.  The incident is under investigation.

Monday, August 30

* The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary on Julia Court.  The victim reported that electronics and household items totaling almost $3500 had been stolen.

* The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of theft from some property off of FM 2940.  The report states that someone went on the property and stole electric motors, and electric box, about 500 feet of electric cable from pump jacks on an oil lease.  The incident is under investigation.

*The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary in the 6900 block of Hwy 377S.  The victim reported that someone entered her home, ransacked it and stole $3000 in cash.

*4:00pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of W. Commerce regarding unwanted subjects on the property.  The subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings and released.

Tuesday, August 31

*Early Police Department arrested 20-year-old Tamarra Sue Bond for Theft of Property equal or greater than $50 and less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Jennifer Marie Gil and 20-year-old Calvin Xavier Mann on multiple drug charges.  Reports indicate that they were found in possession of prescription drugs that were prescribed for another person.  Gil faces two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone and Mann faces four counts.

*7:42am – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of theft in the 6900 block of Clover Leaf.  The victim reported that his wallet was stolen.

*9:24am – Brownwood Police received a report from a subject regarding a terroristic threat.  The complainant told police that another subject had threatened to shoot him regarding a dispute. Police are investigating.

*7:13pm – Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft in the 1400 block of Avenue B.  The victim and witnesses reported that someone stole air condition window units and a gas stove.  Police are investigating the incident.

*8:25pm – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault with injury in the 16000 block of US 183.  The victim reported that one of her neighbors hit her in the face.  The suspects were contacted and issued criminal trespass warnings.

*9:30pm – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two window air condition units being stolen from a residence on  CR 381.

*10:04pm – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Waco Street regarding an unwanted person.  Police arrested 59-year-old Dale Rex Myers for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.

*11:09pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of 6th Street when an off duty officer reported to have observed a narcotics transaction.   Police invested the report and arrested 24-year-old Jacob Lorenzo Ramirez on charges of Tampering with Evidence.

*11:30pm – Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 51-year-old Karen Baumgardner on charges of Tampering with Physical Evidence.   Reports state that Baumgardner moved a vehicle from the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Lakeshore Drive that she was not involved in.  The report states that the vehicle she moved belonged to her friend who is suspected of drinking and driving.

Wednesday, September 1

*12:35am – Brownwood Police stopped to speak with a man walking on the side of the road on Tannehill.  Reports state that 21-year-old Royce Daniel Gober Jr. pulled a bag of marijuana out of his pocket and kicked it under the patrol car while with police.   He was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Evidence.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
