Friday, August 5
*12:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a request for a criminal trespass warning from a complainant for her residence against her ex-husband and his friend.
Saturday, August 6
*7:28 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 611 in Brownwood, TX regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainants stated that they had discovered some missing items after returning home from a trip.
Monday, August 8
*10:33 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.
*2:34 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a purse, $400 in cash and personal identification were stolen during the burglary.
*6:59 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 500 block of Main Street. According to the report, consent was granted to search the vehicle and a small amount of methamphetamine was located in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. This stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 24-year-old Justin Don Lewis of Brownwood, for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*10:35 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Austin Avenue regarding public intoxication. This call led to the arrest of 22-year-old Jeffery Wayne Allen of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Michael Lee Hogue of Clyde, Texas on warrants related to failure to appear/theft by check and motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Elijah Ray Jones of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license when unlicensed not CDL and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Michael Steven Pennington of Early on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
