Wednesday, August 7

*2:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Belmeade regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on August 5th and 3:00 p.m. August 6th, an unknown suspect entered the residence and removed 30 feet of #2 copper tray cable, the electrical meter socket and a 125 amp main disconnect, which was attached to the exterior wall of the home.

Thursday, August 8

*6:50 AM – Brownwood Police were called to Brooks Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, several mailboxes were found to have been pulled off of their stands or bent.  The driver’s side mirror of a vehicle which was parked in front of one of the residences was also damaged in the incident, the report states.  There were no arrests or suspects at the time of the report.

*8:57 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a shoplifter was issued a citation for theft after an investigation showed that she stole and returned an item in exchange for a gift card.

*10:56 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 3400 block of 3rd Street regarding a terroristic threat.  According to the report, a male subject threatened the complainant.  Subsequent to this investigation, the male suspect, identified as 22-year-old Timothy James Savell, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*1:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend was on scene causing problems.  The complainant also advised that the female subject had broken a window at the residence, the report states.  This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Kathie Lee Ann Vasquez for criminal mischief equal to or greater than $50 less than $500.

*2:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a theft was interrupted by Wal-Mart loss prevention officers.  An investigation led to the arrest of 21-year-old Andrew James Santibanez of Sidney for theft of property equal to or greater than $50 less than $500 and for evading arrest.

*10:12 PM – A Brownwood Police officer observed a vehicle stopped in the traffic lane in the 2600 block of Austin Avenue.  According to the report, when the officer attempted to make contact, the vehicle pulled away.  The officer followed the vehicle for several blocks with lights and siren activated, and the vehicle finally stopped in the 3500 block of Austin Avenue.  The driver, identified as 44-year-old Susan Camille Nettleship of San Saba, failed a series of sobriety checks and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to the report.

*11:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Hendricks Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  Items stolen included personal identification along with $20 cash.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding theft.  According to the report, a check was stolen from the complainant’s purse, her name forged and the check was cashed in another county.

*33-year-old Jason Alanson Bills of Zephyr turned himself in on a warrant related to taking wildlife resources without consent.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 26-year-old Jesus Enrique Lucero-Deluna of Arlington for no driver’s license and defective head lamps.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Joshua James Stovall of Early for theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Victoria Lynan Thompson of Atoka, Oklahoma on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/tamper with evidence.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Jackie Sue Thorpe of Whitesboro, Oklahoma on multiple warrants including failure to appear/theft of property $500-$1500 (Brown County), Robber/Threats (Harris County), failure to appear/theft of property (Grayson County), theft by check (Brooks County), theft (Hidalgo County), theft by check (Taylor County), failure to appear/theft of property (Fannin County), and theft of property (Eastland County).
