Wednesday, August 6
*7:49 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue A regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, two vehicles which were parked in the street were vandalized the previous night by an unknown suspect. An investigation is ongoing according to police.
Thursday, August 7
*8:49 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 498 regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainants stated someone had cut electrical wires from the junction box, entered the residence and stole an air rifle and a welder with hood.
*11:16 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, Brookshire’s grocery store, regarding theft. According to the report, a female subject was identified and issued a citation for theft less than $50.
*4:45 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of theft from an inmate at the Brown County Jail. According to the report, the inmate stated that personal items had been stolen from his home on 3rd Street sometime since he had been incarcerated in May.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Kyle Cossey of San Saba on a warrant related to a parole violation.*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Ashley Alexandra Cunningham of Brownwood on warrants related to theft and failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Stephen Daggs of Clyde for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, theft of firearm, and on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance.
*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Isaiah James Escamilla of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and driving while intoxicated.
*48-year-old Veronica Nesbitt Hadley of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*43-year-old Rebecca Henson of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*26-year-old Angelica Magana of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to accident involving damage to vehicle equal or greater than $200.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Ladona Parker of Early on a warrant related to assault family violence causes bodily injury.
*Brownwood Police arrested Julian Allen Staggs of Early on warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia and motion to revoke/community supervision driving while intoxicated (Callahan County).
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Monty Whiley of Early for evading arrest/detention.
*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Alline Denise Wynn of Early for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A equal to or greater than 2 ounces.
Friday, August 8
*2:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, while the complainant was walking a dog, an unknown suspect entered the residence and stole a 32-inch flat screen television valued at $1700. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges if a suspect(s) could be identified.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Darrell Llyod Richardson of Fort Worth on a warrant related to burglary of a coin operated/collection machine.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 23-year-old Misty Dawn Tafelmeyer of Brownwood regarding driving while intoxicated blood alcohol content equal or greater than 0.15.
