Wednesday, August 1

* 6:07pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 7th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle had been broken into and a laptop computer was stolen.  A bicycle was also stolen from the front of the residence, the report states.

Sunday, August 5

*3:06am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Main Blvd regarding a citizens’ dispute.  According to the report, two suspects were found in the street, in front of the complainant’s residence when the officer arrived.  The complainant stated that the two came to the residence uninvited and that one of the suspects was threatening the occupants of the residence and was attempting to start a fight, the report states.

No one at the complaint’s residence wished to file charges against the subjects; however, because the suspects were intoxicated to the degree that they were a danger to themselves and others, they were both arrested for Public Intoxication.

 

*9:42pm-Brownwood  Police were called to the 1800 block of 16th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, descriptions of the suspects were obtained and several juveniles were later located and identified.  The investigation is ongoing in reference to the burglary of a vehicle and engaging in organized crime.

*11:03pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Monterrey regarding a burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that some unknown subject broke into his vehicle and stole his wife’s purse and his daughter’s shoes.

Monday, August 6

*12:39pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft of approximately $2700.  According to the report, a suspect has been identified.

*5:39pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Dartmore regarding found property.  According to the report, a bicycle was found at the residence; however, a skateboard was reported to be stolen.  It appeared that someone “traded the bicycle for the skateboard and then left the scene,” the report states.  The skateboard was valued at $10 according to the report.

*Brownwood Police arrested 48-year-old Lesa Lynnette Scott for Theft of Services greater than $20 less than $500.

Tuesday, August 7

*12:10am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding an assault.  According to the report, two females sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.  This call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Checila Ann Washington for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and 17-year-old Brandon Monroe for two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Injury, according to the report.
