Monday, July 30

*2:51am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding a burglary of a vehicle.

Friday, August 3

*11:41am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject had used her credit/debit card without authorization.

*11:48am-Brownwood Police were called to the 3800 block of 3rd Street regarding the theft of a bicycle.  According to the report, the complainant estimated the value of the bicycle at $150 and wished to pursue criminal charges if a suspect is identified.

*3:45pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Belmeade regarding forgery.  According to the report, a suspect has been identified.

*4:30pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Avenue J regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant reported sometime this day, between the hours of 11:45am and 4:20pm, someone had damaged the front driver’s side fender of her vehicle.  The complainant stated that she had been to several locations throughout the day and did not notice the damage until she had returned home.

*10:11pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of 6th Street regarding a man lying in the middle of the intersection of 6th Street and Avenue B.  According to the report, the man, identified as 64-year-old Jesse Deleon Basquez, was  found to be passed out and lying against the curb on the south side of the intersection on his back.  One of Basquez’s sandals was in the nearby vacant lot and his cell phone was lying on the pavement beside him, the report states.  Guardian EMS found no reason to transport him for medical treatment and Basquez was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Brown County Jail, the report states.

*11:23pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 40-year-old Lisa K. Alldredge for Public Intoxication.

*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Jerry Head for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and on two outstanding warrants.

Saturday, August 4

*12:38am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Vincent Street regarding a found bicycle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that four males were walking down the street when they saw the complainant and dropped a bicycle.  The complainant wished to report the bicycle in case it was stolen.

*11:23pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Avenue J regarding a domestic disturbance involving Assault with Injury Family Violence.  No arrest was made at the time of the report.

*1:45am-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Center Avenue regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, the suspect vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated.  The driver, identified as 28-year-old Ramiro Huerta, was determined to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DWI, the report states.  Huerta consented to a blood draw and was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room where a specimen was collected for evidence.  He was then transported to the Brown County Jail.

*6:09am-Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Bowie Circle regarding the theft of a bicycle.

*12:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Belmeade Street regarding a follow up.  According to the report, while en route, the officer was advised the call had been changed to an unwanted person beating on the outside of the residence and “acting crazy.”  This call led to the arrest of 26-year-old Amber Leann Snider for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone and Abandon Endanger Child Criminal Negligence.

*12:31pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Oak Point Addition of Lake Brownwood.  According to the report, approximately 12 street signs had been run over during the night.  No suspect information was available; however the Oak Point Property Owner’s Association wishes pursue criminal charges if a suspect is located.  The total cost estimated to replace the signs was reported to be approximately $7,000.

*9:37pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 2800 block of Cleburne regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the victims of the burglary stated that they were away from their home for several days, and although they had a neighbor  watching the residence, when they returned the noticed several items missing including jewelry, power tools and household items.  No arrests were made at the time of the report; however, suspect information was provided by the victims, the report states.

Sunday, August 5

*1:33am-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Booker Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a subject identified as Jonathan Dillard had assaulted a child and his girlfriend.  Dillard was placed under arrest and charged with Injury to a Child and Assault with Injury Family Violence according to the report.  CPS was notified of the incident, the report states.

*6:17am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the actor was not on scene when police arrived; however, a female victim stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend’s mother.  At the time of the report, the victim was unsure if she wished to pursue charges.

*11:16am-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 8th Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his vehicle was damaged in the Whataburger parking lot between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am this day.  Damaged was the passenger side tail lamp and fender along with the rear bumper, the report states.

*1:40pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 2nd Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant advised officers that her daughter had caused damage to the back door frame of her residence and she wished to pursue charges and also requested a criminal trespass warning be issued to the daughter.

*8:55pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Center Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a male suspect was issued a citation for theft under $50 after he was caught stealing a Kingdom Hearts tri-fold wallet with chain from Hastings. The wallet was valued at 14.99, the report states.

*9:34pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 Durham Avenue regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant advised a known subject had assaulted him this past Friday and he now wished to pursue criminal charges.

*Bangs Police arrested Jackie Devin Joy of Clyde was arrested for Public Intoxication.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 27-year-old  Randy Jack Land for Driving While Intoxicated with Child under 15 Years of Age.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old James Kirby Peek for Driving While License Invalid.

*Texas Parks and Wildlife Department arrested 25-year-old Clayton Powers for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 49-year-old Allen Lynn Thate of Santa Anna for Public Intoxication.

* Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Ernest Alvin Willborn III of Santa Anna for Public Intoxication.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Charity Anne Wittke for Driving While Intoxicated 1st.

Monday, August 6

*2:45pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Booker Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, one of the subjects involved in the incident was determined to be a registered sex offender.  It is believed that the subject has failed to properly report a change of address and an investigation into possible charges is pending, the report states.

* Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Javier Demetrius Zamora for Failure to Identify/Giving False Information.
