Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, August 6, 2010.
Wednesday, August 4
*At 6:31am, Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 9th Street in regards to a burglary of a vehicle. The complainant stated that a Porter Cable Pancake Style air compressor and Delta table saw was stolen. The offense is under investigation.
Thursday, August 5
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 39-year-old Kimberly Yance Blankenship, 38-year-old Mark Lewayne Chandler, 28-year-old Beverly Renee Gandy, and 34-year-old Justin Lee Gonzales. Each is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
*At 10:35am, a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 180 in reference to a couch, chair and mattress that had been thrown out on the roadway. When moving and looking through the items, two pieces of mail were found. At the address found on the mail, the subject was found to be no longer living at the residence.
*At 11:00am, a Brownwood Police officer at BPD received a report of forgery. Findings led to the investigation of forged checks according to the report.
*At 11:11am, a wallet that had been found was turned into the Brownwood Police Department. The owner was unable to be contacted and the wallet was placed into the Brownwood Police evidence room as found property.
*At 11:47am, Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Clements regarding the theft of a cell phone.
*At 12:49pm, Brownwood Police were called to a resident in the 1100 block of Phillips. A criminal trespass warning was issued as requested by the complainant.
*At 1:24pm, Brownwood Police responded to the BRMC emergency room in reference to an unwanted subject. The officer arrived on scene and identified 48-year-old James Anthony Bilbrey as the subject in question. Bilbrey was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and for a Pardon & Parole Violation Warrant.
*At 2:21pm, Brownwood Police were called to BPD regarding theft. Further information provided led to an investigation of identity theft.
*At 2:32pm, a Brownwood Police officer received a report at BPD regarding the forgery of two checks. The investigation is ongoing.
*At 8:45pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Avenue D regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband began punching and kicking her vehicle after an argument, which resulted in a broken door handle. The suspect fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.
Friday, August 6
*At 1:00am, Brownwood Police were called to a report of a woman screaming and running in the roadway. The female, identified as 30-year-old Wenona Bell Kempf, was located in the 700 block of 3rd Street and after investigation, was arrested for Public Intoxication the report states.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
