According to Early Chief of Police David Mercer,  Early police officers responded to the 100 block of Early Blvd to Humphrey Pete’s restaurant in response to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle on Thursday, August 4th, 2011.  While investigating the burglary, officers learned that Lucier had just left the restaurant.
