Friday, August 1

*1:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, as a result of this call, 19-year-old Amber Nicole Garrett of Dublin was arrested for theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*2:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  As a result of this call, two juveniles were issued citations for theft less than $50, the report states.

*2:56 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of Fisk Street, TexasBank, regarding fraud.  According to the report, an employee of the bank who worked in the drive through cashed a withdrawal on an account for the amount of $50.  The owner of the account contested the withdrawal and showed proof that he did not make the transaction from the account and TexasBank reimbursed his account.

*9:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, two male subjects had been involved in an altercation which resulted in one of the males to be transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room for treatment.  The known suspect had left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival, the report states.  The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

*9:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Duke Street regarding the theft of a lawnmower.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property at the corner of FM 2125 and Spillway road regarding a burglary of a building.  A storage unit had been broken into and several items were missing, the report states.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Crystal Annette Bates of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft.

*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Angelina Sophronia Burks of Brownwood for possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than or equal to 5 pounds in a drug free zone and on a Caldwell County warrant for theft by check.

*Brownwood Police arrested 58-year-old David Carroll Smith of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.

Saturday, August 2

*11:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Phillips Drive regarding possession of drug paraphernalia.  According to the report, a juvenile was issued a citation for the offense.

*5:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the issuance of a citation for theft of property less than $50 to a female subject.

*6:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Crothers regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a vehicle had been scratched with a sharp object.

*8:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of W. Austin Avenue regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 19-year-old Tiffany Lashawn McDowell  for criminal trespass.

*9:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of 1st Street and Roselawn, Coggin Park, regarding juveniles causing problems.  According to the report, the officer located three subjects who were in possession of alcohol.  The three subjects were issued citations for the offense; however none of the three had consumed any of the alcohol, the report states.

*10:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of 1st Street regarding the theft of a lawnmower.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Christopher Lee Constancia of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Elijah Ray Jones of Brownwood on warrants related to no motorcycle endorsement, operate unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Jessica Ray Medcalf of Brownwood on warrants related to violate promise to appear and speeding 10% or more above limit.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Melissa Lizzet Palacios of Brownwood on a warrant related to accident involving damage to vehicle equal or greater than $200.

Sunday, August 3

*12:37 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Almond and Hall Streets regarding a noise nuisance.  According to the report, a male subject was issued a citation for violating a city ordinance regarding noise nuisance.

*8:11 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Melwood regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone removed the batteries from three vehicles during the night.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:11 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, the asset protection team had a female detained for theft of property.  This call led to the arrest of 20-year-old Bianca Nadine Gloria of Granite Shoals.

*7:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Mayes Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, two handguns, a box of ammunition, an LED flashlight, and an iPod were stolen, which were valued at $1080.  Two possible suspects were named, the report states.

*9:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Willis Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant arrived home to find their front door had been kicked in; however, no items were noted to be removed from the home.  The incident is under further investigation, the report states.

Monday, August 4

*1:15 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Brady Avenue regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report,  the complainant stated that two subjects known to him had damaged his vehicle door earlier in the morning and had later in the day broken into his home, stealing several items.
