Monday, August 29
*11:15 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Austin Avenue regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant reported a series of crimes, including terroristic threat, the theft of a cell phone, burglary with intent to commit assault, and the burglary of a habitation, which had occurred between the dates of July 1, 2016 and August 28, 2016. An investigation is pending, the report states.
*2:13 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the railroad track in the 6700 block of US Hwy 67 regarding a call from BNSF Railway of a white male, who was sitting on top of one of their signal poles and trespassing on the railroad tracks. According to the report, when the deputy arrived, he saw a male subject running about 200 yards down the tracks in the opposite direction. The male, identified as 35-year-old Richard Nicholls of Early, Texas, was later caught at RA’s Gun Store’s parking lot and was arrested for trespassing on the railroad property.

*10:43 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, two 26-inch bicycle tires were stolen.*2:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, a suspect has been named and the incident is under investigation.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy estrayed two black Angus cows and one black Angus heifer. The cattle owner has been identified and arraignments made for the owner to pick up the livestock.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Kelsey Monique Elliott of Lometa, Texas on a warrant.
*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Ernesto Gutierrez of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $2,500 less than $30,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Keith Allen Hall of Early, Texas on warrants related to failure to appear/aggravated assault with deadly weapon, failure to signal and violate promise to appear. Hall was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $31,800.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Joe Chance Moseley of Brownwood on a warrant related to a probation violation.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 33-year-old William O’Neal Nickerson of Brownwood on warrants related to deadly conduct and unlawful possession of a firearm by felon. Nickerson was later released on a $10,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Alexander Villarreal of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/failure to identify give false identity.
