Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
Monday, August 30
*Texas Department of Public Safety along with Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Kevin Lewis Kessinger of Blanket and 22-year-old William Joseph Meyer of Early. Both were charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Burglary of a Vehicle and Criminal Mischief, greater than $1500, less than $20,000. Click Here for full story.
*At 9:46am Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of C.C. Woodson regarding a stolen purse. It was found that the purse had been taken from the complainant’s residence some time between Sunday at 11:30pm and early Monday morning the report states. Suspect information was gathered and the offense is under investigation.
*At 10:17am, a Brownwood Police officer spoke with a complainant at the Brownwood Police Department regarding a theft. According to the report, the victim explained that she had paid a local fencing contractor $3400 to build a fence at her residence on August 12, 2010; however the contractor has not done any work.
*At 12:45pm Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Maple Street regarding a theft of an extension cord. According to the report, the complainant stated that a suspect had stolen the cord and sold the copper as scrap.
*At 7:54pm, Brownwood Police were conducting a narcotics investigation in the 3500 block of Rhodes Road. This investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Jason Marion Ringler for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz the report states.
Tuesday, August 31
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Harley Richard Buckelew for Assault with Injury Family Violence.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
