Saturday, August 25
*11:29pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a burglary. According to the report, it was found that criminal trespass of the habitation and criminal mischief had occurred.
Sunday, August 26
*1:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Greenway Drive regarding an assault.
*1:12pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377S regarding found property. According to the report, the complainant stated that a prescription bottle containing xanax had been located inside the store.
Wednesday, August 29
*3:11pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, items were stolen out of the bed of a pickup at the location. The items were taken sometime in the past two weeks and were valued at approximately $200.
*7:13pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant told police that a skateboard that he had purchased for his son had been broken in half by an identified male juvenile. A report was taken as well as photos to document the incident.*8:38pm-A Brownwood Police officer was running stationary traffic in the 1900 block of Belle Plain when a complainant in a vehicle pulled up beside him and reported that someone driving a black Chevy pickup had been doing “donuts” in a field the complainant maintains for the owner of the property. The suspect pickup was located and a criminal trespass warning was issued to the subject, the report states.
*10:24pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding a dog bite. According to the report, a male complainant was at the emergency room at Brownwood Regional Medical Center after he was bit by a dog. He stated that a black and gray colored dog bit him an unknown number of times on the left wrist and hand when he reached down to pet it, the report states. The location of the animal was unknown at the time of the report.
Thursday, August 30
*2:25am-A Brownwood Police officer was on patrol in the 3800 block of US Hwy 377S when he observed a vehicle disregard the traffic light at the intersection of Crockett Drive and US Hwy 377S. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Luis Alvarado, was subsequently arrested for Violation of Probation.
