Tuesday, August 27

*4:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding alleged drug activity.  According to the report, the female complainant stated that a male subject came out of an apartment and told her that he had just purchased drugs from the residence.  The complainant stated that “you could smell drugs coming from the apartment,” the report states.  This call led to the arrest of Stephanie Prado for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Wednesday, August 28

*6:57 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Vincent Street regarding a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, a vehicle was found abandoned in Brownwood and a suspect was identified.   The incident is under investigation.

*7:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her vehicle was taken by her ex-boyfriend who is a co-owner of the vehicle.  Further investigation found that a subject entered her apartment and moved around her possessions without her consent, resulting in a report for burglary of a habitation being filed according to the officer’s report.

*11:41 AM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, the loss prevention officer advised that she had observed 26-year-old Porfirio Camp, Jr. steal $909.23 worth of merchandise.  Camp was arrested and charged with theft equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.  After a search of his person incident to his arrest, Camp was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

*1:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Stonebridge Circle regarding fraud.  According to the report, a suspect had fraudulently used the complainant’s identifying information to open a fictitious credit card account and then used the credit card at several different locations in Brown County.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Adam Lewis Bolden for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*28-year-old Christopher Brian Boyd turned himself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid/failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Aaron Joseph Bumgardner of Llano on an indictment related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Patricia Dawn Ford for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old David Frank Gilbert of Comanche on an indictment for theft of property equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000 and a Kimble County warrant for burglary of a habitation.  Gilbert is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $25,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Jerry Miller on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 62-year-old Jose Luis Obregon-Munguia on two municipal court warrants.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Jeremy Lee Ortega on three warrants related to failure to appear/motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, failure to appear/driving while license invalid with no insurance, and failure to appear/possession of a dangerous drug.

Thursday, August 29

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Verelda Evans of Rochelle on charges of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Felicia Michelle Pierce of Brady for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and on warrants related to expired motor vehicle inspection and violate promise to appear.
