Wednesday, August 26

*12:07 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Belle Plain regarding an alarm.  Officers arrived to find the business had been broken into.

*4:41 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a juvenile problem.  This call led to the arrest of 36-year-old Amber Parks of Brownwood for injury to a child.

*6:48 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of 3rd Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant reported several of the household items were stolen from her residence.  Items stolen included a washer and dryer, window air conditioning unit and a power washer.  A possible suspect was named, the report states.  The investigation is ongoing, according to the report. *6:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, items stolen include electronics, numerous collectible knives, and jewelry.

*11:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of 8th Street regarding an assault which had just occurred.  As a result of this call, 24-year-old Brandon Stevens of Brownwood was arrested for assault.

*11:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 38-year-old Jeremy Kelcy for public intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Mario Guerra of Eastland for theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 36-year-old Evlyn Kathryn Kelly on a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Kerry Eugene Woods of Comanche for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.

Thursday, August 27

*4:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, an investigation determined an altercation had occurred at the residence and property had been damaged.   Involved parties declined to pursue charges for assault and the incident was documented for criminal mischief.

*Early Police arrested 19-year-old Michael Cole for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and failure to identify.

*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Graydon Perez of Austin for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
