Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, August 27, 2010.

Wednesday, August 25

*At 4:56pm, Brownwood Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Avenue G.  According to the report, after an investigation, it was determined that the incident was a case of “mutual combat”.  Although no arrests were made, the two subjects were given trespass warnings for the property.

*At 9:23pm, a Brownwood Police officer located a male subject in the 2500 block of Belle Plain after receiving a request from a pastor of a nearby church to issue a trespass warning to the subject.  The man understood the trespass warning and stated that he would not return according to the report.

Thursday, August 26

*In the early morning hours, Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Vincent in reference to a burglary of a habitation that had just occurred.  According to the report, while the homeowner had been at work, two 16-year-old males tore a hole in the back wall of the home and committed the theft.  Several items were stolen which included a glass Tequila bottle in the shape of a shotgun, old coins from different countries, and a pistol.  A canvassing of the area did not result in locating the suspects or the property initially; however, later the juveniles and the property were found at the juveniles’ home the report states.  Subsequently they were both arrested for theft $1500<$20,000.

*Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue where a report of identity theft was received from a complainant.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
