Saturday, August 23

*10:09 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 320 regarding a theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that mail belonging to the property owner had been stolen out of his mailbox while out of town.  A possible suspect was named.

*6:10 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Magnolia Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, a female complainant stated that she had been assaulted earlier in the week by her ex-boyfriend.

Sunday, August 24

*7:20 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a property on South Hwy 183 in Early regarding animal cruelty.  According to the report, the complainant’s dog had been shot, and it appeared that it had been shot while it was on the complainant’s property.

*1:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, an undisclosed amount of money and another item was stolen from the store.  A suspect was named and the investigation continues.

Monday, August 25

*10:39 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  After an investigation, 17-year-old Mayra Hernandez was placed under arrest for assault family violence and criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*7:54 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on Shady Oaks Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an enclosed trailer had been intentionally flipped onto an adjacent flatbed trailer causing damage to the enclosed trailer.  No suspect information was available and the estimated cost to repair the damage to the trailer was $1200, the report states.

*8:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of 6th Street regarding theft.  According to the report, two window unit air conditioners and a refrigerator had been stolen from the residence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Dakota Shane Adney of San Angelo on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Randall Don Baker of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Barbara Sue Butts of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*53-year-old Abraham Gutierrez of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to theft of service equal or greater than $20 less than $500.

Tuesday, August 26

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Brian Thomas Duke of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Charles William McCutchen of Brownwood on a Burnett County warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*Early police arrested 27-year-old David Anthony Moreno of Early for driving while intoxicated 2nd and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
