Thursday, August 22
*2:22 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of identity theft. According to the report, someone used the complainant’s name and social security number To have electric service turned on at a location on Gray Oak Drive in Houston.
Friday, August 23
*12:40 AM – Brownwood Police received a telephone call reporting telephone harassment.
*10:54 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive to assist Adult Probation. According to the report, a search was conducted on the probationer’s apartment and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located. The probationer was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and released at the conclusion of the search, the report states.
*2:46 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding criminal trespass. According to the report, a subject identified as 17-year-old Chaz Everett Bastardo was confirmed to have a criminal trespass warning for the store property. Bastardo was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespassing.
*3:15 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a report of robbery in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive. According to the report, the complainant stated that two black males threatened to harm him if he did not give them his money. The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.
*6:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding criminal trespass. According to the report, a subject who has an active criminal trespass warning for the store property was seen in the parking lot of the store. The subject was located in the 600 block of W. Commerce, and after a short investigation, 21-year-old Charles Devlyn Dyess was arrested for criminal trespass, the report states.
*7:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Riverside Drive regarding the theft of a cell phone. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Shane Edward Agan of Brookesmith on warrants related to failure to appear/driving while intoxicated, violate promise to appear, and driving while license invalid.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 33-year-old Raymond Sosa Alvarado, Jr. for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 48-year-old Feliz Ramos Barboza on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Christopher Eugene Fisher on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Justin Don Lewis on a warrant related to theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old James Brandon Sargent of Anson for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Gidget Lawson Stewart on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Kristie Abernathy Webster on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, August 24
*10:33 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Belle Plain Street regarding the theft of $200 in cash. According to the report, the complainant stated that his girlfriend stole $200 from his wallet before telling him she was moving out of his residence. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges for the theft, the report states.
*12:39 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 3rd Street regarding harassment by phone. According to the report, the teenage complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend had been calling and texting her on her cell phone approximately forty times a day for the past week.
*12:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the reporting party stated that she had been assaulted by 35-year-old Ericton Carnell Franklin. After interviewing witnesses, Franklin was arrested and charged with assault family violence and interfering with an emergency call, the report states.
*1:33 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of a cell phone. A possible suspect was named, the report states.
*2:55 PM- Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Avenue G regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole the vehicle’s radio.
*5:11 PM – Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car after receiving information of a possible theft from Wal-Mart. According to the report, the stop lead to the recovery of stolen property belonging to Wal-Mart. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for class c theft, the report states.
*5:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of LaMonte Drive regarding a suspicious vehicle. According to the report, when the officer had dispatch check the vehicle registration, he was informed that the vehicle was reported to be stolen from Jones County, Texas. The vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet crew cab pickup, was impounded and placed on hold for the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.
*6:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Hwy 377 South, Dollar General, regarding a welfare check. According to the report, the officers found that an assault had taken place. The incident is under investigation, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Mary Kathleen Cole Byrd for possession of marijuana.
*Early Police arrested 48-year-old Janice Elaine Coffey for driving while intoxicated.
*Early Police arrested 21-year-old Gage Dadrian of Pflugerville for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Bridget King on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Justin Lee Kirkpatrick of Coleman for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Kirkpatrick is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Joshua David Wayne McDaniel on a rant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
Sunday, August 25
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Michael John Zarate on Comanche County warrants related to aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault of a child.
