Wednesday, August 24
*1:49 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding credit/debit card abuse.
*2:12 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, $305 in cash was stolen from the vehicle and the driver’s side window was destroyed.
*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding the theft of a bicycle.
*7:35 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Vincent Street regarding harassment.
*8:19 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Main Street. According to the report, during the stop, a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine and a citation was issued.
*8:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a domestic disturbance. The officer spoke to the parties involved and the incident was documented at the request of one of the parties.*8:53 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on O’Neal Street in Bangs, Texas regarding a person who had been hit in the head with a baseball bat. The deputy spoke with the victim, gathered information and documented the incident.
*9:07 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the area of Glenwood Drive and Oaktrail Drive. According to the report, while speaking with the subject, the officer discovered him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
*11:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Tulane Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been damaged by a beer bottle which was found nearby that had paint matching the vehicle on it.
*11:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Vine Street regarding suspicious activity. According to the report, the officer arrived at the location and located a male subject who was found to be intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Richard Lynn Andrews of Comanche, Texas on several warrants related to arson intend damage habitation, burglary of a habitation, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, and two surety withdrawals related to fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and tamper/fabricate physical evidence. Andrews was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $165,000 as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Jeremiah Edward Baggett of Brownwood on a warrant related to tall grass and weeds.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Charles Lee Brown, Jr. of Brownwood for evading arrest/detention and for a warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Celestine Mason of Brownwood on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Jason Norbert Mueggenborg of Brownwood on warrants related to operate ATV on public street/highway, two counts of violate promise to appear, failure to stop and render aid, and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Thursday, August 25
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Robert Jon Eugene Rook of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Kendall Fredrick Theis of Brownwood on a warrant related to sex offender’s duty to register life/annually. Theis was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old James Andrew Williamson on a warrant.
