*12:49am-Brownwood Police officers discovered two adult males and three juveniles trespassing at the Camp Bowie Aquatic Center located in the 3100 block of Milam Drive.

Monday, August 20

*6:16am-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding theft.  According to the report, a metal sun visor was removed from the top of his tow truck while parked at his business on Coggin Avenue.

*8:22am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Avenue B regarding a request of a criminal trespass warning, which was issued to a subject for the residence.

*10:12am-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Maple Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that medication was stolen from his vehicle which was unlocked and the windows were down at the time of the theft.

*10:43am-Browwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Waco Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a chainsaw had been stolen out of the bed of the complainant’s pickup between the dates of August 19th and 20th.

*4:14pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 200 block of W. Commerce regarding an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 20-year-old Alex Ussery Henderson of Coleman, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions.

*7:24pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Belmeade Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant advised the officer that her ex-husband had damaged a swimming pool pump.  The complainant wished to pursue charges for the damage, the report states.

*8:04pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Woodridge Street regarding a suspicious call.  According to the report, two male juveniles had been observed climbing in and out of the residence at the location.  Charges were filed after the juveniles were identified and the owner of the property was contacted.

*8:35pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue for a traffic violation.  According to the report,   the driver, identified as 23-year-old Caitlin Rae Martinez, was found to have a suspended driver’s license and an open container of alcohol inside her vehicle.  The vehicle was also found to have a quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana, the report states.  Martinez was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free Zone, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces in a Drug Free Zone, Driving While License Invalid and Possession of an Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.

*11:47pm-A Brownwood Police officer observed three subjects, by the light of headlamps,  going through a storage unit in the 500 block of Pecan.  According to the report, the subjects stated that they were getting their belongings ready for a garage sale.  The officer was asked by another officer to issue trespass warnings to the three subjects for a residence in the 1000 block of Avenue H by request of the homeowner, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief at a property located on County Road 176 in Bangs.  According to the report, the property owner reported that a combination lock was cut and replaced with a key type lock.  No property was known to be damaged or taken at the time of the initial report.
