Friday, August 16

*8:43 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on Hwy 45 S regarding a domestic disturbance.   After determining that no assault had occurred, a subject was issued a criminal trespass warning for the property.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Hwy 84 E in Zephyr.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been assaulted by her son-in-law and wished to pursue charges.  The son-in-law also stated that he had been assaulted and wanted to pursue charges.

Saturday, August 17

*8:30 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Oak Hill Circle regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that two hubcap covers, valued at $100 each, were stolen off of his vehicle while it was parked in the detached garage.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on County Road 211 regarding the burglary of a habitation.   According to the report, the home was broken into and several items were taken from the residence, a possible suspect was named.

Sunday, August 18

*8:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Hawkins Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he had been physically assaulted by a household member.  There was also damage to the back door and to one of the windows of the residence, the report states.  The complainant identified the suspect; however, the suspect had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival according to police.  A report for assault with injury family violence and retaliation and criminal mischief was filed.

Monday, August 19

*7:28 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Elizabeth regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her purse had been stolen after being left secured in her vehicle overnight.

*8:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of C. C. Woodson Road regarding a follow up of an incident of theft.  According to the report, the identified suspect of a theft of fuel on August 5th had failed to pay for the fuel.

*8:27 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her vehicle had been burglarized while parked outside of her residence on Pecos Drive.

*9:08 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Durham Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the vehicle was burglarized while parked outside of the complainant’s residence.

*9:52 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Brownwood Police Department regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the incident occurred sometime between the hours of 5:00 PM on August 18th and 8:15 AM on August 19th.  Several items were reported to have been stolen during the incident and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*10:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Belmeade regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, during the burglary, the complainant’s wallet was taken from inside the vehicle.  The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.

*10:26 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on U.S. Hwy 183 S. in Zephyr regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a former tenant had allegedly stolen a window unit air conditioner from the property and had broken siding off of the front porch.

*11:54 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Walnut Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had taken metal poles and pipes from his property without consent.

*12:29 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he believed a known suspect stole property off of his front porch while he was not at home.

*1:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hawkins Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant learned that the boyfriend of her brother had moved out of her brother’s residence, taking some of her brother’s property.

*2:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Center Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, sometime during the overnight hours of August 18th, several letters were stolen from the Pat Coursey Park fountain.

*2:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Gifford Street regarding an assault that had taken place on August 17th.  According to the report, the assault had taken place at a north Brownwood residence and the complainants declined any prosecution.

*3:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, three females were detained for shoplifting.  As a result of this call, 19-year-old Andrea Barrientos, 19-year-old Jordan Audrey Mays and 20-year-old Olivia Reber were arrested, each charged with theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to Walnut Street at the Brownwood city limits to meet with a complainant regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, an unknown person had been driving on the complainant’s property and had abandoned the vehicle on the property.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from a residence on County Road 551.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she believed her roommate had stolen several Alprazolam tablets from her prescription bottle.
