Monday, August 17

*11:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding the theft of two 6-packs of beer.

*1:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a verbal argument between two females progressed into physical violence.  This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Marlena Gomez of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence.

*4:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding theft.   According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 35-year-old Samuel Mejia of Gatesville for theft less than $1500 with two or more previous convictions, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and on two active Coryell County warrants for his arrest

*5:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of US Hwy 377S regarding theft.  According to the report, a suspect came into the store and stole a pack of cigarettes, valued at $4.82.

*6:07 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, $472.60 in merchandise was stolen from the business.  No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

*43-year-old Lisa K Alldredge of Abilene was arrested on warrants related to motion to revoke/theft and motion to revoke possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A less than 2 ounces.

*47-year-old Alfred Cadena, Jr. of Brownwood turned himself in on warrants related to expired driver’s license and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kavesha Robertson of Desoto, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault on a public servant.
