Monday, August 15

*4:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding terroristic threat.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s sergeant was dispatched to Hwy 67 W. regarding three different fire locations in the bar ditch.  According to the report, it is believed that the fires were possibly intentionally set.  There were several locations in Coleman County that were also reported as well.  No suspects have been developed at this time.  A report was taken for Arson.

Tuesday, August 16

*8:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of a building.

*9:05 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Indian Creek Drive.  According to the report, the driver was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*3:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding a male subject standing in the roadway.  According to the report, officers had been called earlier this date to this location due to an intoxicated male subject stealing cat food.  Officers arrived on scene to find 55-year-old Foy Arthur Lawson of Brownwood intoxicated and standing in the roadway, the report states.  As a result of this call, Lawson was arrested for public intoxication.

*10:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a welfare check.  According to the report, after further investigation, the male subject involved, identified as William Kinnard of Brownwood, was arrested on two active warrants and charged with assault causing bodily injury family violence and resisting arrest, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Alberto Cantu on warrants related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 and credit card abuse.

*48-year-old Ryan Owen Smith of Derry, Pennsylvania on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $30,000 less than $150,000.  Smith was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 33-year-old Derrick Solomon of Brownwood on warrants related to display wrong license plate and failure to appear.

Wednesday, August 17

*Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a 30-pack of beer was stolen from the business.
