Thursday, August 12

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a complainant, whose residence is located on FM 1849 in Bangs, stating that a local company has been selling water from her residential meter without her knowledge or consent.   The report states that the complainant’s property has a water meter that provides water to three other properties.   According to the report,  the offense has been ongoing since March 2008 resulting in $2100-$3200 in fraudulent billing and theft of income she should have received from the submetered properties that she was not informed about upon purchasing the property from the company.

Friday, August 13

*At 6:39am, Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Poplar Street regarding criminal mischief.  Complainant reported that his pickup had the back window broken out.

*At 10:59am, a Brownwood Police officer met with a complainant who reported that her child had been kidnapped by her ex-husband who had relinquished his parental rights.  The offense occurred on or about July 23, 2010 when the child was taken without permission the report states.  The child has since been returned and an investigation is ongoing.

*At 2:30pm, a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to a report of an assault that occurred in the 3400 block of Milam Drive.  The report states that no charges will be filed.

*At 2:55pm, Brownwood Police officers were called to the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding criminal mischief.  A complainant wished to report her signature was forged on several checks.  According to the report, she named a suspect and wished to file a report in case the same offense were to occur in the future.

*At 6:53pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin.  Officers spoke with a complainant who wished a trespass warning be issued to a former friend.  According to the report, the subject was located at another address and issued the trespass warning.

*Approximately 9:30pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Belle Plain regarding a subject running at cars. The subject was located and identified as 41-year-old Chad William Beasley.  Beasley was arrested for Public Intoxication with 3 prior convictions.

*Brownwood Police received a report of harassment by telephone.  Suspect information was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

*A Brownwood Police officer was contacted by an owner of a local business in the 700 block of W. Commerce who wished to have a criminal trespass warning issued to a subject for their business.  The man was located and given the criminal trespass warning which he understood and signed.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence on Main Street in Blanket to investigate a report of criminal mischief.  The report states that the complainant believes someone put something into the gas tank of his golf cart that caused it to stop running.  A bottle of fluid was shown to the deputy that resembled gas along with a thicker liquid that looked like motor oil on the bottom.  The complainant wished to file a report and will file an insurance claim.

Saturday, August 14

*At 7:10am, Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 12th Street regarding disorderly conduct.  The complainant told officers that a male subject exposed himself which offended them the report states.   A report was filed for indecent exposure.

*At 11:15am, Brownwood Police were called to a report of theft of medication in the 2000 block of Avenue B.

*At 1:10pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Elizabeth regarding a hit and run.  The complainant reported that a tan Chevy pickup hit her car and left the scene.

*At 3:19pm, Brownwood Police officers met with a male complainant at the BPD who wished to report stolen money.  He stated that he had been riding with friends last night and had reason to believe that one subject took money from his wallet the report states.  Suspect information was provided and the investigation is continuing.

*At 6:40pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Belle Plain.  A complainant stated that property had been stolen from a rent house.  The report stated that information about the suspect and property were obtained; however, no arrests were made at the time of the report and the investigation is ongoing.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to CR 102 in reference to burglary.  The report states that the complainant found one of his pistols was missing.  When looking around further, he noted several weapons to be missing.  A suspect was named; however, no arrest had been made at the time of the report.

Sunday, August 15

*At 3:45pm, Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop in the 800 block of Avenue G which led to the arrest of the driver, 26-year-old Gabriel Chico Campos, for Driving While License Invalid, with previous convictions.

*At 1:02am, Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of 4thStreet which led to the arrest of two subjects and seizure of illegal drugs and paraphernalia according to the report.  17-year-old Scott  Allen Coker was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1,  <1g in Drug Free Zone; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 3, <28g Drug Free Zone; Possession of a Dangerous Drug; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and no Driver’s License.   Also arrested was 22-year-old Brandi Nicole Hunziker, who was charged with Possession of Marijuana, < or =2oz in a Drug Free Zone and for two outstanding Brown County warrants.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Adrian Galindo for Driving While Intoxicated.

*At 9:42pm Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Kay Drive regarding an unwanted person.  The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Francisco Abelardo Esobedo who was subsequently arrested for Injury to a Child and Assault with Injury Family Violence the report states.

*At 9:51pm, Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Fisk regarding a burglary of a building.  After the officer spoke with the owner, it was determined that an unknown subject had accessed the building and an unknown number of customers’ payments were missing according to the report.

Monday, August 16

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Amy Leigh Peters for Assault with Injury Family Violence.

*Early Police arrested 46-year-old Janice Lynn Turney for Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of shots being fired at the Whistle Stop in Blanket.  The complainant and her father had arrived home from being out of town and had noticed a vehicle parked in front of their neighbor’s property the report states.  The complainant stated that a male subject was lying under the neighbor’s vehicle and claimed to be borrowing the tire because he had a blow out in Comanche County and needed to borrow it to return to Mason.    The complainant worrying for his safety returned to his house, but could see the vehicle and watched to make sure the subject did not take the tire.  The complainant stated that he could no longer see the vehicle and thought the subject had left the area until an unknown woman walked up from the storage building.  The subject’s vehicle the returned with a door open for the woman to enter as it drove toward the complainant in what was allegedly an attempt to assault the complainant with the vehicle.  The complainant stepped out of the way and fired one shot at the driver’s side right front tire as the vehicle sped off.  No suspect has been located and no arrest had been made at the time of the report.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
