Wednesday, August 13

*12:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the area of Avenue A and 1st Street.

Thursday, August 14

*3:12 PM – Brownwood police responded to the 400 block of Brick Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the rear window of the complainant’s vehicle had been broken.

*5:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that her purse was stolen out of her office while she was at work.

*8:52 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at the intersection of US Hwy 183N and Early Blvd and made a traffic stop.  According to the report, the officer made contact with the driver 30-year-old Amy Ann Gilmore of May and passenger 25-year-old Patrick McClain O’Connor and both behaved very nervous throughout the stop.   A K-9 unit was dispatched to the location and alerted on the vehicle, the report states.  During a probable cause search of the vehicle, 1.1 grams of marijuana and a can with a false compartment were located, according to the report.  Both Gilmore and O’Connor were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a criminal instrument, according to the deputy’s report.

*10:55 PM – A Brownwood Police officer made a pedestrian stop in the 1000 block of 6th Street after observing a male walking South on the wrong side of the roadway.  According to the report, this stop led to the male being issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after a marijuana pipe was found in his possession.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 32-year-old Bennie Bible of Santa Anna on warrants related to unlawful restraint and theft of property by check (Taylor County).

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Robert Lee Powell of Lampasas for failure to appear/theft by check.

Friday, August 15

*38-year-old Shawnee Yvonne Traweek of Bangs turned herself in on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.
