A Brownwood man was arrested after a parole search warrant was executed at a residence on Milton Street in Brownwood on Friday.
According to information released by Brown County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed on parolee, 33-year-old Lawrence Mood’s residence where narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found in a canvas bag which was hidden inside the residence. Items seized included 15 grams methamphetamine, 7 tablets methadone (1 gram), 69 tablets hydrocodone (28.8 grams), 47 ½ tablets alprazolam (8.9 grams), 5 zolpidem tablets (1.2 grams), 6 carisprodol tablets (2.8 grams), 7 tablets of cyclobenzapine (1.2 grams), along with digital scales and packaging common in distribution of narcotics distribution, the affidavit states.
Also found on the property was a plastic bladder device which contained a liquid which appeared to be urine. Investigators explained that this device was most likely used to “thwart urinalysis testing to determine narcotics use.”
Mood is currently on parole with the State of Texas and his residence is located within 1000’ of Letbetter Park and the Brownwood Coliseum, which is a drug free zone. Mood was arrested on multiple drug related charges including Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 greater than or equal to 4 grams less than 200 grams in a Drug Free Zone; Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 greater than or equal to 1 gram less than 4 grams in a Drug Free Zone; 3 counts Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 3/4 greater than or equal to 28 grams less than 200 grams in a Drug Free Zone; 2 counts Delivery of a Dangerous Drug; and Falsification of Drug Test Results.
As of Tuesday morning, Mood was being held on bonds totaling $72,000.

*11:09pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a defective license plate lamp. According to the report, the driver was asked to empty his pockets and while doing this, he removed a metal marijuana pipe from his right front pants pocket. The driver was issued a warning for defective equipment and given citations for Driving while License Invalid and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The pipe was seized as evidence.
*5:39pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 4th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone damaged her backyard gate.
*6:46pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of 4th Street regarding theft. According to the report, taken was a window air conditioner and a Skilsaw. Total value of the items was estimated at $692.00.
*6:56pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue, Coggin Park, regarding a fight between two juveniles. According to the report, the fight appeared to be mutual combat and no charges were filed.
*11:54pm-A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop in the area of Market Place Blvd and Belle Plain. According to the report, one subject was issued a citation for speeding and no driver’s license and a juvenile male was arrested for Public Intoxication.
