Sunday, August 10
*10:35 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the 7700 block of Blarney Drive regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle and burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known subject had allegedly stolen multiple items and cash out of the complainant’s vehicle and home while staying at the residence the previous night.
*2:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle which occurred in the south side of Brownwood earlier in August.
Wednesday, August 13
*10:49 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Southgate Drive regarding identity theft. According to the report, an unknown subject used the complainant’s social security number and other identifying information to open an account with AT&T.
*5:53 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of 1st Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant advised that several items were stolen from her home during the overnight hours and that she did wish to pursue criminal charges.*9:21 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 8th Street regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, when officers arrived they found the subject had left the residence, however, the complainant requested a trespass warning be issued to the subject.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 11000 block of South US Hwy 183 regarding an unwanted person. The subject was located and a criminal trespass warning was issued.
*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Jose Carrizales of Brownwood on warrants related to speeding equal to or greater than 10% and failure to appear.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old April Lynn Couture of Mullin on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver’s license and failure to appear.
*Early Police arrested 41-year-old Holly Rudene Hudson McKee of Brownwood on a McCullough County warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Phillip Dell Spivey of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility and violate promise to appear.
Thursday, August 14
*12:12 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Avenue L which led to the arrest of 24-year-old Jacoby Clint Martinez for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
* 1:50 AM – Early Police Corporal Brandon McMillian stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Longhorn Drive for defective equipment. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Saxxon Ozborne Holliday of Hurst and the passenger 18-year-old David Blake Havens of Brownwood, appeared very nervous. Holliday did not have a driver’s license and appeared to be trying to hide something, the report states. Holliday then advised that he had something in his shorts, and it was found that Holliday was attempting to hide methamphetamine, according to the report. Both Holliday and Havens appeared to be under the influence of drugs and were placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Holliday was additionally charged with no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to display motor vehicle inspection and expired motor vehicle registration.
*2:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce Street, Taco Bell, regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, an employee stated that someone had struck his vehicle and left the scene without providing him the required information. The subject wished to pursue charges the report states.
