Monday, August 12
*11:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Anderson Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, while the officer was en route, dispatch advised that the complainant stated a black male by the name of “Alex” was causing problems at the residence and cursing at people who were at the scene. Shortly afterwards, dispatch updated the officer by stating that Alex had driven away from the scene, the report states. 39-year-old Alejandra Demestric Hall was located a few blocks away from the scene and after an investigation, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense.
*3:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Bowie Circle regarding the burglary of a habitation. The complainant stated that sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., someone gained entry to her residence and stole multiple items, the report states. The incident is pending further investigation.
Tuesday, August 13
*2:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Coggin, the 7-11 convenience store, regarding theft. According to the report, the clerk advised that two bald Hispanic males in their mid-30s entered the store and stole a pair of sunshades.
*3:02 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of theft and credit card abuse via telephone call. According to the report, an undetermined amount of rent money and funds from credit cards were stolen from the complainant’s sister.
*4:01 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Avenue D regarding an abandoned vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that a blue Ford pickup had been parked in front of her residence for approximately 5 days. The owner of the pickup was unable to be located, it has been red tagged and will be moved from the roadway in 48 hours, the report states.
*5:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 101 regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had taken his wallet and cell phone from his vehicle while he was picking vegetables on his father’s property. The wallet and phone were discovered to be missing at approximately 2:00 p.m. this date.
*6:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Avenue C regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the complainant, who lives in another town, stated that he was contacted and informed that a house that he owns was broken into and a window unit air conditioner, valued at $225, was stolen. There was also damage to the back door of the house, estimated at $300 to repair, the report states.
*6:56 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1900 block of Vincent Street. According to the report, the complaint stated that her ex-boyfriend has been driving by her residence today and yesterday. The complainant has a protective order against the ex-boyfriend and also stated that he had allegedly pointed a gun at her current boyfriend making him fear for his life. After an investigation, a report for violation of a protective order and terroristic threat was completed.
*10:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Belle Plain regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had damaged the locks on several of his buildings in an attempt to break into the buildings.
*11:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been assaulted by the suspect, her adult son. The suspect, however, reported that he was assaulted by his mother’s boyfriend and complained of difficulties breathing and injuries to his ribs, the report states. The suspect was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room for evaluation, according to police. A report for assault with injury family violence was filed.
*11:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a female subject stole a green bag with her clothing inside and that she wished to pursue charges.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 44-year-old Adam Lewis Bolden on a warrant for no seat belt – driver.
