Tuesday, August 11

*1:37 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke with a complainant regarding theft.  According to the report, someone had stolen some of her belongings from her residence on County Road 551.  A neighbor had been watching her property while she was out of town and allowed a possible suspect to enter the residence because the suspect told the neighbor he had permission to enter the complainant’s property.

Wednesday, August 12

*12:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of 3rd Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown subject had entered a home which was under construction and damaged most of the electrical and had taken the wiring varying 1-10 feet in length.  Damage and cost to repair the electrical system of the home was estimated at $3000.

*12:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Avenue C regarding an assault.  According to the report, an investigation determined the incident to be mutual combat between both parties.  The parties involved agreed to be separated and neither party wished to pursue charges, the report states.

*5:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Belle Plain regarding an assault.  The incident was documented as an aggravated assault and interfering with an emergency phone call, the report states.  No arrests were made at the time of the report, according to law enforcement.

*7:22 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 100 block of Market Place Blvd.  This stop led to the arrest of 43-year-old Dale Wayne of Brownwood for driving while license invalid.

*8:08 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Avenue E.  During the stop, the officer observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, the report states.  The driver was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, the report states.

*8:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an intoxicated driver.  According to the report, the vehicle was located at a convenient store and the officer observed the driver exit the vehicle and stumble toward the door of the business.  The driver, identified as 67-year-ol Michael Thompson McInnis of Brownwood was eventually arrested for driving while intoxicated, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 60-year-old Maria Magdalena Abascal of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Cory Don Baker of Zephyr on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance.  Baker was released on $20,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Tommy Lee Kinsey of Brownwood on a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Kelle Moore Stinnett of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear possession of a controlled substance and on a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Tiffany Ann Thomson of Brownwood on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance. Thomson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
