Sunday, August 9
*1:21 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a possible illegal commercial dump after receiving information from a health department employee.
Monday, August 10
*3:04 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding theft. According to the report, an incident of theft over $500 under $1500 was documented.
*10:35 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to FM 2559 regarding a burglary. According to the report, an investigation determined that a window of the home had been pried open; however, no property had been taken from the residence other than possibly a few unidentifiable grocery items. Possible suspects were named.
*2:42 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 550 regarding the report of a domestic assault involving family violence. According to the report, a male victim had apparent minor injuries and the suspect who fled the scene was identified. The victim was transported by ambulance to Brownwood Regional Medical Center, the report states.*5:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the law enforcement center regarding to subjects that were becoming combative in the front lobby of the police station. According to the report, the parties were separated, and after officers interviewed each subject separately in a secured room, it was learned the complaint was a sexual assault. The alleged incident was documented, the report states.
Tuesday, August 11
*10:12 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Melwood regarding theft. According to the report, an iPhone 5S was stolen and sold to another individual in Brownwood.
*11:34 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a runaway juvenile. According to the report, the complainant stated that the juvenile had left in the early morning hours, August 10th at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers attempted to locate the juvenile at several locations without success; however, the child was later located and returned home.
*5:25 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a Brownwood residence regarding the alleged sexual assault of a child. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*7:41 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Main Blvd. regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a window had been broken and a juvenile suspect had been identified. The complainant wished to pursue charges, the report states.
*9:32 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, the complainant stated that they had received a threatening text message.
*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old James Donald Bronson of Comanche on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Kevin Dwayne Caudle of Brownwood was arrested on a parole violation.
*23-year-old Justin Don Lewis of Brownwood was arrested for hinder apprehension or prosecution.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Joshua Brian Todd on a warrant related to hinder apprehension or prosecution.
*37-year-old Dusty Lee Wilson was arrested on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
