Wednesday, August 10

*4:33 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a domestic disturbance that was occurring in a moving vehicle.  According to the report, the deputy was able to locate the vehicle on FM 2559 and made contact with the victim and two other witnesses.  All three subjects’ stories where consistent with each other and after further investigation, it was determined that no assault had occurred, the report states.  The deputy located the suspect a short time later to check his welfare as well.  The suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana; however, it did not belong to him and one of the other subjects, identified as 36-year-old Tina Nicole Wellmaker of Merkel, Texas, claimed the marijuana, according to the report.  Wellmaker was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*6:47 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center who reported that she believed her drink was tampered with while at work.

*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding narcotics usage.  According to the report, a subject was located and detained during a public intoxication investigation.  The male subject refused to identify and gave a false name, then attempted to run away from the officer while he was being detained, the report states.  The male subject was stopped and placed on the ground to be handcuffed, the report states.  He was searched due to arrest, identified as 49-year-old Randy Alexander of Brownwood, and found to be wanted on a parole warrant, according to the report.  Alexander was arrested and charged with failure to identify, evading arrest/detention, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and on the outstanding parole warrant.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 350 regarding an attempted entry into the victim’s vehicle.  According to the report, there was obvious damage to the driver side door and frame where an unknown suspect had shoved a pry bar or rod type instrument into the vehicle and attempted to pry the door open. The victim did not think the suspect got the door open because other than the damage, nothing inside had been tampered with, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Tiffany Ann Bostick of San Angelo, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Michelle Kealei Gonzales of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

Thursday, August 11

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made consensual contact with two subjects, a male and a female, identified as 36-year-old Micheal Lee Rawls of May, Texas.  The deputy spoke with Rawls and she gave consent to search the vehicle which led to the discovery of a silver colored box in Rawls’ purse which contained two small clear baggies with residue which tested positive for methamphetamine, 2 glass pipes with burnt residue and a scoop straw, the report states.  Rawls was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Juan Israel Hernandez of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft of property.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Chance Austin McCutchen of New Braunfels, Texas on a warrant related to injury to an elderly individual.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Josue Jaime Pesina of Crystal City, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft over $1,500 under $20,000.
