Monday, August 8

*11:28 AM –  A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Hwy 279 for a vehicle theft which was in progress.  According to the report, the vehicle was gone upon the deputy’s arrival.  The victim and suspect were both contacted and the vehicle was returned, the report states. The incident is still being investigated, according to BSCO.

Tuesday, August 9

*5:22 AM – Brownwood Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Durham Avenue.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of the driver, 25-year-old Khayman Delarosa of Brownwood, for driving while intoxicated.

*7:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the vehicle had been stolen some time during the night.

*11:14 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Durham Avenue regarding theft.

*11:27 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding possible drug activity in the area.  According to the report, officers arrived to find that a male subject had come to the residence and had attempted to break-in through a window to assault another subject at the residence.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*6:22 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2100 block of Temple Avenue regarding an assault.  According to the report, the female victim stated she had been assaulted by a female relative.

*6:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Brownwood Regional Medical Center regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male had assaulted a female in the parking lot of a restaurant in the area.

*8:06 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Main Blvd. regarding a welfare check.  According to the report, during the call, the complainant informed the officer that some unknown subject had stolen some prescription medication from the residence.

*9:26 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on Belfast Drive regarding a welfare check on a subject had called the MHMR Crisis Line and stated he wanted to harm himself.  According to the report, the deputy was able to locate and talk to the subject.

*10:20 PM – Brownwood Police observed an abandoned vehicle in the 1200 block of Cordell Street and made contact with the registered owner.  According to the report, it was determined that the vehicle had been stolen.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Laramie Sheree Hash of Brownwood on a warrant related to parent contributing to non-attendance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Joe Monroe of Friona, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Richard Zachery O’Connor of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of alcohol/open container.

*Bangs Police arrested 33-year-old Stewart Grant Reynolds of Brownwood on a warrant related to fail to identify giving false/fictitious information.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Rontrell Shelton Young of Ballenger, Texas on warrants related to surety withdrawals for aggravated assault with deadly weapon and possession of marijuana.

Wednesday, August 10

*2:30 AM – Brownwood Police observed a male subject walking and stumbling in the 1200 block of Coggin Avenue and made a welfare check on the male.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 22-year-old Dustin Edminston of Brownwood for public intoxication and on some outstanding warrants.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Xavier Barron of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
