Law enforcement arrests and reports released August 10, 2011.

Tuesday, August 9

*11:57am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Avenue I regarding theft.  The phone call received indicated that a boys bicycle had been stolen from the front yard of the residence.

*5:47pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding harassment.  The complainant stated that she was receiving harassing and threatening phone calls and texts from a known subject.

*5:59pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 5th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  After an investigation, a subject on scene was issued a criminal trespass warning at the resident’s request.

*7:23pm-A Brownwood Police officer made a stop on a vehicle in the 800 block of Second Street for a traffic violation.  Further investigation led to the discovery of several bags of marijuana in the vehicle.  Two of the vehicle’s occupants, 19-year-old Brian Scott Evans and 18-year-old Arnulfo Hernandez II were arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less than 2 oz in a Drug Free Zone.

*8:47pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of 6th Street regarding a motor vehicle accident.  Dispatch advised officers that a gray passenger car had struck a parked vehicle.  Investigation determined that the driver of the gray car, identified as 53-year-old Henry Gary Allison, Jr., was intoxicated.  Allison was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.

*10:06pm-A Brownwood Police officer, while patrolling US Hwy 377S near Howard Payne University, located a bicycle leaned against a tree.  No one was able to be located nearby as a possible owner.  The serial number was checked to see if the bicycle had been flagged as stolen, which it was not.  The officer took the bicycle to Brownwood Police Department and placed it into the impound for safe keeping until the owner can properly identify and claim it.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 35-year-old Michael Garrett Gaskill of Albany for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.

Wednesday, August 10

*3:55am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Avenue G regarding criminal mischief.  The complainant reported that someone had “keyed” the sides, hood and trunk of her vehicle.

*Bangs Police Department arrested 21-year-old Billy Joe Kuykendall of Burnet for Failure to Identify.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Annaliese Rene Pirie of Austin on charges of Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and Minor in Possession.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
