*8:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Durham Avenue regarding an assault.
Thursday, July 31
*12:56 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault. According to the report, the officer spoke with the victim and a witness.
*9:15 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on US Hwy 183 South in Early regarding a stolen vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend had borrowed her vehicle and would not return it. The complainant stated that the ex-boyfriend had no financial interest in the vehicle. A report was taken and an attempt to locate the vehicle was made.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 26-year-old Alan Leroy Everett of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility.
