Wednesday, July 3

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 32-year-old Thomas Dwayne Brummett of Brookesmith for public intoxication.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 59-year-old James Edward Flowers on a parole violation.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested Carolyn Sue May on a warrant for open storage in yard/solid waste and for a warrant for tall grass and weeds.

*30-year-old Michael Joe Somerville of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to an indictment for motion to adjudicate theft of wire/cable under $20,000.

Thursday, July 4

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to a residence on County Road 135 regarding a burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the residence had been burglarized between January 13th and this date and a shotgun, air rifle and several food items were found to be missing from the residence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of money from a fireworks stand on Belle Plain.  A suspect has been named.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the Sandy Beach Park regarding an intoxicated female who was reported to be assaulting several people at that location.  The female, identified as 34-year-old Mary Nichole Culp, was found to be intoxicated and using profane and vulgar language in a public place and continued using this language after being told to stop, the report states.  Culp was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.  The people being assaulted did not wish to pursue any charges, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Prajjwol Acharya on an indictment for manufacture deliver controlled substance penalty group 2 or 2A equal or less than 4 grams less than 400 grams.

*Early Police arrested 47-year-old Lynn Crossett for assault family violence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Anthony Francisco Duffy for prohibited weapon switchblade/knuckles.

*Early Police arrested 61-year-old Everett Ray Harris for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brownwood Police arrested 45-year-old Stacie Michelle Moore for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Michael Doyle Pullen of Early on an indictment for take wildlife resources without consent.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 40-year-old Carey Lashawn Vogel of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.

Friday, July 5

*8:55 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband threatened to kill her if he went back to jail.

*10:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine Street regarding theft of property.  According to the report, the property owner stated that two subjects entered his store and stole two bottles of whiskey.  The owner wished to pursue charges when the suspects are located, the report states.

*10:12 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding an animal complaint.  According to the report a dog was observed running at large and was highly aggressive to officers responding.  Contact was made with the owner who was issued a citation for animal running at large.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 318 regarding cruelty to animals.  The deputy located a Great Dane which was left in a kennel that was in the direct sun, which later died.

*11:28 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Lane Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during an argument, her boyfriend pushed her in the chest causing her to fall and injure her back and head.  He then allegedly began breaking personal items that belonged to her, the report states.  Officers spoke to the suspect who admitted to pushing the female and breaking some dishes, along with blocking her from leaving through the front door of the residence according to the report.  The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Richard Glenn Parmer, was arrested and charged with assault with injury family violence.

*11:58 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of criminal mischief in the 2800 block of Southside Drive.  According to the report, two passenger side tires on the complainant’s vehicle were damaged.  The tires were valued at $300 each.

*12:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Broadmoor Circle regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a tire on the complainant’s vehicle had been punctured.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a call regarding cruelty to animals.  According to the caller, the suspect had told her that he had hit a horse hard enough to knock it unconscious and the caller wished the horse and some dogs at the property to be checked for abuse.   The offense of cruelty to livestock and non-livestock animals was investigated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Alejandra Demestric Hall for public intoxication.

*Bangs Police arrested 29-year-old Dustan Lee Purcella for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

*Brown County sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Mary Jane Deleon Pyburn on a warrants for failure to maintain financial responsibility; driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Shantell Shawntee Morgan for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Saturday, July 6

*1:12 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding a report of alcohol being present at Coggin Park.  The call led to the arrest of John Glenn Ivy, Jr. for possession of alcohol in city park.

*2:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding the unauthorized use/theft of a vehicle.  After speaking with the complainant, a civil standby was conducted at the location and some property was exchanged between family members; however, not all property was recovered, according to the report.  The call resulted in charges being filed for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft along with two criminal trespass warnings being issued, the report states.

*3:52 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 800 block of Beaver Street regarding the report of a runaway juvenile.  The complainant stated that the juvenile had been missing since July 4th, the report states.

*8:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding a disturbance.  This call led to the arrest of 19-year-old Richard Ammons for public intoxication, disorderly conduct – fighting and failure to identify, the report states.  Ammons was also issued a criminal trespass warning for Coggin Park according to the report.

*9:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Hendricks Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a female subject had allegedly been assaulted by her boyfriend.  Injuries were observed on the female and a report was filed for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 23-year-old Jessica Lynn Bigbie of Early on a Taylor County warrant for theft of service by check.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Anna Jeanette Coffey on a warrant related to parent contribute to nonattendance.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 48-year-old Elmo Jay Hawkins of Abilene for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Jason Lee Lawson for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A less than 2 ounces and for a Midland County warrant related to driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Divanna Shay Loggins of White Settlement for public intoxication.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 46-year-old Brent Llewellyn Mears of Lago Vista for driving while intoxicated with child passenger.

Sunday, July 7

*1:15 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Vine Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the caller advised that a maroon SUV had veered off of Vine Street, striking a stop sign at the intersection and almost drove into the drainage ditch.  Contact was made with the driver at Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room, where a voluntary blood draw was taken, the report states.  Charges are pending the results of the blood draw, according to the report.

*1:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Main Blvd. regarding theft.   According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject stole money totaling $518. A criminal trespass warning was issued to the subject.

*4:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Early Blvd. regarding a terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant advised that an acquaintance called him and threatened to shoot him.  The complainant stated that the suspect is apparently upset over a business deal that occurred approximately a month ago, the report states.  A report was forwarded to the appropriate agency for investigation the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Adam Lewis Bolden for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Codie Nathaniel Eisenhauer for driving while intoxicated with child passenger.

*Early Police arrested 27-year-old Jacob Sol Needell of Denver, Colorado for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Brett Lee Odell on a Travis County warrant for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Lucilla Ortega on a warrant for a parole violation.

Monday, July 8

*1:15 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 10th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the male half of the argument had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.  After the investigation was completed, 35-year-old Ricardo Ruben Lugo was arrested for the violation of a protective order, the report states.
