Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, July 8, 2010.

Wednesday, July 7

*At 09:46am Brownwood Police responded to a report of theft in the 2000 block of Coggin Avenue.  According to the report, after speaking with the complainant, it was determined that a burglary of a building had occurred.  Two suspects have been listed and charges are pending according to police.

*at 2:08pm, a Brownwood Police officer conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation.  According to the report, after identifying the driver, communications revealed that the driver, 20-year-old Calvin Xavier Mann had no driver’s license and that he had three previous convictions for no driver’s license.  Mann was arrested for the violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s office received a report of harassment and fraudulent use of identifying information.  A woman reported that someone created a Facebook page using her name and other identifying information without her consent.  She also reported receiving harassing voice messages and text messages.  The Sheriff’s office is investigating.

Thursday, July 8

*Approximately 12:21am Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Riverside in regards to an assault.  Upon arrival, the officer was told that the suspect had left the scene according to the report.  This complaint led to the investigation of an assault causing bodily injury.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
