Thursday, June 30
*1:35 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, several items including a car speaker and window air conditioning unit, were stolen by a male subject. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
Friday, July 1
*3:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, officers spoke to the victim who had been hospitalized, along with her daughter. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*7:29 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of 11th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of a female subject who was also involved in the disturbance, identified as 30-year-old Amanda Honea of Brownwood, for interference with public duties.
*11:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a south Brownwood home regarding information being “hacked” from the female complainant’s phone. Two possible suspects were named, the report states.
*11:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 4200 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a male subject who was driving while intoxicated. This call led to the arrest of the subject, identified as 52-year-old Thomas Valdez of Brady, for driving while intoxicated 2nd.*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location in reference to an unwanted subject outside the complainant’s house beating on the doors and windows. The deputy arrived to find the female suspect at the rear of the house yelling towards the windows. Per the wishes of the complainant, the female was issued a trespass warning and warned not to call or text to harass the complainant. The female refused to sign the warning and was escorted from the property.
*33-year-old Amber Nicole Bergman Allen of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Laura Dee Singh Clevenger of Abilene on a Taylor County warrant related to theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Anthony Francisco Duffy on a warrant related to motion to revoke/terroristic threat cause fear of imminent bodily injury.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Samuel Wesley Harwell of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to unlawful possession of firearm by felon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old April Lynn Humphries of Blanket on a warrant related to tamper with government record – insurance document.
*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Nicholas Osbourne Johnson of Brownwood for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
Saturday, July 2
*12:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding theft.
*1:16 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Commerce Street regarding harassment.
*6:52 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the town of May, Texas on a report of criminal mischief. According to the report, the deputy located nine metal garbage dumpsters in and around the town of May, which had been pushed over onto their backs and turned upside down. There are no suspects at this time, the report states.
*11:50 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke with a female regarding harassment. According to the report, this call led to a report being taken for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family violence. The offense had allegedly occurred last month and a suspect was listed, the report states.
*2:37 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a sex offender who had failed to register with the Brownwood Police Department.
*5:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.
*5:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a building.
*7:40 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue H regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle. According to the report, two suspects had stolen a wallet from a vehicle and had fled the scene. Witnesses identified the two suspects; however, the suspects were not located at the time of the incident, the report states. Officers went to one of the suspects’ home and spoke with a male subject who showed the officers where the suspect discarded the wallet, the report states. The wallet was returned to the female complainant who stated that $23 was missing from the wallet.
*10:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female victim stated that her boyfriend had allegedly assaulted her. The incident was documented, the report states.
*11:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a restaurant in the 200 block of E. Commerce Street regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the suspect had left prior to officers’ arrival, but was located a short distance from the restaurant. This call led to the arrest of 35-year-old James Williamson of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Hwy 279 in reference to the theft of a firearm. According to the report, the deputy met with a complainant who advised he had placed his Heritage .22 pistol in the bed of his truck or on top of his truck after shooting a burn barrel. The complainant then “forgot” about the pistol and drove to town, the report states. At approximately 7:00 PM, he noticed the pistol missing.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Candace Rachell Gonzales of Brownwood on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 (Brazos District Court) and failure to appear/forgery (Robertson District Court).
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Michael Wade Lancaster of Brownwood on warrants related to running a stop sign and violate promise to appear.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 18-year-old Nikita Marie Martinez of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 45-year-old Dawn Marie Skaggs for boating while intoxicated.
Sunday, July 3
*12:39 PM – Brownwood Police observed a traffic violation and made a stop in the 3800 block of US Hwy 377 South. According to the report, this stop resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Sarah Martinez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
*1:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that while she was away from home, her vehicle had been damaged by an unknown suspect. Officers observed scratches on the left front quarter panel of the pickup that continued all the way around the vehicle to the right quarter panel, the report states. The damage was estimated at $2500 to repair, the report states.
*4:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 29-year-old Chadly Dewayne Musick of May for assault family violence and disorderly conduct.
*4:42 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Blarney Drive in reference to a theft, which had occurred at the Dollar General Store on Highway 279. No suspect information was available at the time of this report.
*6:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Main Blvd. regarding a suspicious call.
*9:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Main Blvd. regarding an assault.
*11:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Avenue B regarding an assault. According to the report, an investigation determined that a female had been assaulted by her boyfriend and that the male subject was also found to be in possession of counterfeit US currency. As a result, the male, identified as 43-year-old Randell Ray Bowers of Brownwood, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence and for forgery.
*7:50 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy contacted Ashley a complainant/witness about a counterfeit $10.00 bill. The currency was seized and entered into evidence, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 2492. According to the report, a male complainant advised he had noticed several guns were missing. The complainant stated he had last seen the guns on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, around 12:00 p.m., the report states. The complainant reported he had been in and out of the house many times since then doing work and visiting friends, the report states. There were no signs of any forced entry and no suspects are known at this time.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 47-year-old Joe Beyer of Waco for boating while intoxicated.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 30-year-old Brody Tyler Byrd of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A equal or less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 52-year-old Albert Duffie of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 40-year-old Dieter James Mullen of Bangs for driving while intoxicated blood alcohol equal or greater than 0.15.
Monday, July 4
*10:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of 1st Street regarding theft of property. According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was away from his home, several items were stolen from underneath his carport. Items stolen included a battery charger, two miter saws and two mufflers, and were valued at nearly $1400.
*4:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Anderson regarding a domestic disturbance.
*4:37 PM – A Brownwood Police was flagged down in the 1500 block of Borden Street regarding an assault.
*8:17 PM – Brownwood Police flagged down in the 1100 block of Main Street regarding a reckless driver. According to the report, a male subject who told the officer that another subject had attempted to run him off of the roadway.
Tuesday, July 5
*Texas Department of Public of Safety arrested 25-year-old Christopher Aaron Anderson of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
