LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, July 31, 2014.

Wednesday, July 30

*8:27 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding theft.  According to the complainant, an unknown subject stole a large outdoor black mat from off of her front porch, along with an aloe vera plant in a plastic planter.

*10:44 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Commerce, Tractor Supply Company, regarding theft.  According to the report a female came into the store with an empty shopping cart and later used an old receipt to return items for a cash refund.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of fraud.  According to the report, the complainant was approached by 5 to 6 males stating that they had left over paving materials from a previous job and that they would black top his driveway for a reduced price.  The complainant entered into a verbal agreement with the men and paid $1100 for the work.  He now believes he was scammed and wanted to report the incident to law enforcement.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Jeanette Lynn Barber of Gatesville on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft by check.

*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Jason lee Gray of Rising Star on an Erath County warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence and a parole violation related to possession of a dangerous drug.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Valerie Rodriguez of Brownwood on a Tom Green County warrant related to failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Robert Sedberry of Converse, Texas on a Bexar County warrant for motion to revoke/burglary of a habitation.
