Friday, July 23

*At 6:11pm, a woman came to the Brownwood Police Department to report that her foster son had hit her in the face with his fist.  The incident occurred at Brownwood High School according to the report.  The complainant had brought the suspect to the Law Enforcement Center herself, where he was subsequently arrested and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Wednesday, July 28

*Early Police Department arrested 23-year-old Danny Faulkner for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1, less than 1 gram and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

*At 1:53pm, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Durham in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival the officers found a subject involved to be in possession of drug paraphernalia according to police reports.  The item was seized and the subject was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, July 29

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Office on patrol noted a car pull over onto the side of FM2125.  When the Deputy made contact with the driver, it was found that the driver did not have a license.  According to the report, the other occupants of the vehicle showed signs of intoxication and subsequently, 27-year-old Benito Elias Fernandez and 32-year-old Vladimir Rosado were arrested for Public Intoxication.  The driver, 32-year-old Felix Prieto Toro was also arrested, charged with No Drivers License.

*At 1:50am, Brownwood Police responded to a report of a fight in the 2300 block of Avenue B.   According to the report, the actors were identified, one of which was transported to the BRMC emergency room to be treated for his injuries as a result of the fight and the other was not located.  No charges have been filed at the time of the report.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
