Tuesday, July 26

*7:35 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Shamrock Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the victim advised a known suspect burglarized his house and that numerous items were taken. The estimated loss is approximately $1300 and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Wednesday, July 27

*8:17 AM –Brown County Sheriff’s’ deputies were dispatched to County Road 169 regarding the burglary of a habitation report.  According to the report, the victim advised a window unit had been taken from his camper. The total estimated loss for the victim was $750 and an investigation ongoing, the report states.

*8:39 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s corporal was called to FM 45 South regarding theft.  The complainant advised several pieces of copper wire were stolen from the property, the report states.

*11:08 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*4:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hwy 67 West regarding the theft of two bicycles and a weed eater from the carport area of the residence. According to the report, a suspect was named.

*7:19 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Southside Drive and Magnolia Street for speeding.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 33-year-old Keith James Aubel of Bangs, Texas for the violation of a protective order.

*8:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a subject was caught on camera stealing a vacuum cleaner, valued at $129.99, from the business.  The subject was not identified at the time of the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of assault with a deadly weapon at a residence near Lake Brownwood.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was assaulted numerous times by a known subject between the dates of July 24 -26, 2016 and that the subject had displayed a shotgun on at least two occasions and threatened serious bodily injury to the victim and her family.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft.  According to the report, the rear license plate on the complainant’s pickup had been stolen and it had been replaced with a trailer tag. The victim was not sure when the theft occurred, the report states.   The complainant stated she had recently received a letter from El Paso that she had an unpaid citation in reference to the missing plate number, according to the report.

*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Denise Flanary Campbell of Brownwood on a Brazoria County warrant related to theft of property.

*32-year-old Brian Nicholas Gambaro II of Comanche was arrested on a warrant related to the burglary of a building.

Thursday, July 28

*12:20 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made contact with a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Hwy 279 North and County Road 557.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 27-year-old Albert Lynn Price of Hamilton, Texas was found to be in possession of marijuana.  Price was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.  The marijuana was later weighed and was found to be a total of 6.3 grams without packaging, according to the report.
