Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, July 28, 2010.
Thursday, July 22
*Approximately 3:01pm, Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to FM 2492 in regard to the complainant receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from her ex-boyfriend. The complainant has reported this matter at least two times in the past according to the report.
Monday, July 26
*At 1:40pm, a Brownwood Police officer received a report of theft. The victim reported unauthorized use of their credit/debit card according to police reports.
Tuesday, July 27
*Bangs Police arrested 53-year-old Mary Kay Magoon of Bangs for Injury to a Child, Criminal Trespass, Terroristic Threat and Reckless Damage or Destruction.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a victim of debit/credit card abuse. According to the report, unauthorized purchases totaling $157.52 were made with the victim’s debit card. The victim has the debit card in her possession; however she closed the account to prevent further unauthorized purchases from her account. The victim was given an identity theft pamphlet and advised to contact one of the credit reporting bureaus to monitor her account.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Department was called to Dublin Drive in Brownwood in reference to a dangerous pit bull. According to the report, the complainant stated that the pit bull regularly chases her and is a threat to her small dog. The dog was located in the neighbor’s yard, chained up, but continuing to be aggressive to the deputy who reported, “I believe that had the dog been able to get loose, I would have been attacked or forced to shoot the animal.” Photographs were taken, an application for determination dangerous dog complaint form was completed and the owner of the dog was issued a Receipt of Notice to Owner of Dangerous Dog, which she signed. The owner was also cited for another dog that was not properly vaccinated.
Wednesday July 28
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Danielle Madeline Glaster for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
