LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, July 26-27, 2012.

Tuesday, July 24

*12:00pm-Brownwood Police met a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-husband has been stalking her for over one month, following her everywhere.  The complainant also believes he keyed her vehicle and was fearful that his behavior would worsen and wished to file a report of stalking, according to police.

Wednesday, July 25

*8:15am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Elizabeth regarding the theft of an automobile.  According to the report, the owner he woke to find the vehicle missing; however police report that the vehicle was later found on Avenue I with minor damage.

*11:24am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Bailey Street regarding a runaway juvenile.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her foster son had last been seen approximately 8:00am.

*12:41pm-Brownwood Police were called to Brookeshires regarding theft.

*3:47pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, the elderly female complainant stated that her debit card had been taken from her by a female subject who had been taking care of her.

Thursday, July 26

*7:35pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant and her husband stated that they had let another married couple live with them; however had made the man move out of their home when he would not get a job.  The complainant’s now want the woman to move as well and requested for police to issue the couple a criminal trespass warning for their residence.

*Bangs Police arrested 23-year-old Joshua Jay Rivera of Ft. Stewart for Public Intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew Thomas, Jr. for Possession of Marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a Drug Free Zone.

Friday, July 27

*12:02am-Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding a possible sexual assault of a child.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she believes her son was sexually abused by his father, her ex-husband, while in his custody in another city.  CPS has been notified and a report has been generated and forwarded to the proper jurisdiction, the report states.

*1:21am-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a domestic disturbance near Brownwood regarding a child custody dispute which developed into a physical altercation between the father of the child’s girlfriend and the child’s mother, his ex-girlfriend.  No arrests were made; however photographs were taken of each of the women’s injuries.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
